AMC Puente Hills 20 — Attraction in City of Industry

This theater is dirty, cramped, and hasn't been upgraded since stadium seating was introduced to movie theaters. The chairs dont recline or move at all, they are just straight back, uncomfortable seats. I was going to a 10:30pm show, and myself and other guests were not allowed into the theater till 10:32pm, since they were still cleaning...and once in the theater, it looked like it hadn't seen a broom in weeks....popcorn everywhere, trash on floor (and this was the supposed "IMAX theater" mind you.... which is the smallest IMAX I've ever seen. ) The lobby carpet was sticky.... which I had plenty of time to stand on, since I had to wait close to 20minutes in line for the concession stand, since the employees felt it necessary to help every premiere customer first, ignoring all of us customers who dont want to pay more for faster/friendlier service (I say friendlier, due to employee being observed caring on and laughing with the premiere customer, but barely acknowledged my wife's and my existence, but messed our order up as well.) The soda machines were out of practicality everything. The bathroom was disgusting and smelled even worse. The only thing this theater has going for it was that you can pick your seats.... Asked for a refund, since the overall experience did not make me want to stay for the film, and took almost 20min to accomplish that since was told to go see one employee, who after waiting in line for, made me go see another, who then sent me back to second employee with message on how to do refund... But that does nothing for me, since I won't return to this joke...

The reason My self and loving wife gave 1star to this theater cause of the Manager and Supervisor are lack of experience handling valuable AMC customer that we always come to the same place AMC theater at puente Hills Mall . I would you all to know how embarrassing happened inside this theater , for over 25 year we come to this theater and we love tto watch to see the new release movies and the new big changes inside , the recliner was very good for all . But now the management inside this theater who runs this operation need more experienced how to manage in appropriate way not to threw us out to the theater and calling a sucurity , if he really knows to run this business that’s a wrong moved he did , they made us like bad people , and mentions not to be refunded our ticket , thanks for the security who made them gave our money back . And also just for the manager FYI don’t say to us or to all AMC user that rating is not important to you . Rating is very important for people and to me to my family . We like to come and use the service with 5 start . For the High Nabagenent for AMC theater please inform this people that they got to respect older people respect the situation and try to do something not to go this issue . As a good fellow us citizens, we have right to make this report , we are hear to help the community to find best place to enjoy and to make people happy , and additional to my comments think first...

The best service ever!!! Ash,Ash,Ash,and once again Ash, is this young lady's name. So my wife and I were given a gift card from Costco, I am tech savvy, but it just wasn't scanning. I'm trying to the best of my ability, but to no avail. I am researching, I went on the website it asked for it was redirecting me else where, mind you my family is just staring at me. That's when my family and I were done ready just to give up , Ash came flying in to save the day. She went right to work solving the issue , calling the 1-800 number ,staying on the line ,even when they were no help she continued ,did not give up all while multi-tasking helping more customers resolved the situation. I never see customer service like this anymore,this is what separates us from robots or screens. She was also at the bar once again impeccable service, not only with us ,but when I was back and forth to the restroom with my sons she was having similar joyful,helpful interactions with other customers.Anyways she needs a promotion, a raise, and if you guys were smart you would put her top train others..God bless!

And the theater, Clean,man that sound system and seats.you have soooooo much leg room and privacy. This place is worth the hour drive compared to other theaters closer to me. Now and days, theaters seem to be slowing ,but if they were like this one it could bring them...
