Pit Stop LLC — Attraction in City of Industry

I'm giving this place 1 star only because it's required to post a review when it really deserves a big ZERO and twice earned. All I went in for was an oil change. First occasion was a few months back when one of the "techs" left the cap from one of the empty oil bottles sitting under my hood. Just what you need, right? Loose debris floating around waiting to jam up moving parts. Good thing I happened to notice while looking under the hood the following day. More recently and most significantly, with the same vehicle they did not reassemble my undercarriage shields correctly after accessing my oil drain plug and as a result, less than 20 miles later, one of them came off while I was driving on the freeway and almost caused me to get into an accident. The undercarriage shield was partially shredded and jammed stuck under my car (see attached photo). So now I'm out $250 in estimated damages all because these guys do not take the time to do things correctly and put things back the way they found them. There was no one waiting in line behind me at the time so I don't know what the hurry was. Or perhaps they just don't give a damn about their work? This was my go to place for over 15 years and I don't know what happened to it since then but it's no longer anything to be admired. This place has earned my respect hands down! My truck broke down and while working on it in there parking lot I realized I didn’t have a wrench I needed so half expecting to be asked to leave I walked in and meat a young man named Adrian (I think… I’m terrible with names) not only did Adrian not ask me to leave he stopped what he was doing and went and got me the wrench! I was able to fix my truck and I’m currently driving it the rest of the way home to the inland empire! Thank you so much Adrian and everyone else at pit stop for showing a little kindness and compassion when it seems like that doesn’t exist anymore I’m going to make pit stop the go to place for not only my trucks by my entire work fleet...

There is no 1/2 stars or none stars, I would give it, if you want your car to last I would not rely on them to change your oil. One of the tech did not even know how to close my air filter. I asked for higher mileage oil they don’t even care, they put conventional oils. Drive off a day later oil light come on. I have to go 3 quart of oils at auto zone. I paid $68.00 and have to $37.88 to add more oils 4.. at the same date I saw my coolant was empty, so I call if the check my coolant ( they said yes but we don’t add nice). Now my van got crack piston , I think if they were to put my higher mileage oil like I requested I think my van still drive able. But for sure not come back to this...
