Sally Spa at Pacific Palms Resort — Attraction in City of Industry

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!! I got a package of $259.00. That was a full body massage (60 minutes) and facial massage (60 minutes) I called the receptionist to ask about what they offered and I choice the package above, so we went but unfortunately when we arrived they told me that I should book an appointment! She never mentioned that by phone. then what she offered us is to split the package in two days and paid the 50% of the package (129.50) but was asking for $149.00 ! She said that way she secure the next day ( thinking that we where no going to appear the day after ! ) I claimed why she was charging me that, but at the end she charged what she was telling me from the beginning. The package was full day spa experience ( including sauna and jacuzzi) we never were aloud to use those facilities the first day. I was by then felt uncomfortable that day I had my facial massage, I loved, she was excellent, unfortunately I don’t remember her name, she was very professional ( massaged including my hand and my head) I felt great and relaxed, after that moment I went to reception to leave and say “see you tomorrow” because I already paid half of the packages sad enough the receptionist again call me to ask me to pay half again of the massage I was going to have the day after !! 😠 so all the relaxation I had after my face massage when down ! The owner came and my aunt told her what was going on because by then I did not wanted to talk at all! Everything was sorted. The day after we went for our full massage body, and guess what 😮?it was another desastre day I was so excited to have my full body massage and when I had a girl to do my massage, I was surprised that she was de massaging girl because the day before she was doing the cleaning at the spa and she was with different uniforme that the girls that do the massaging for you. They dressed in beige and this girl was in black. She did not massaged my my feet and my hands and I asked why and she told me that that was a different price and it was not included in my full massage body ( by the way, my aunt did get the foot and hand massage and even other type of massage I did not get. The owner wanted to give me 20 minutes for my hands and feet but I just wanted to get the hell out of there, she made feel bad because she gave my 20 dollars for the inconvenience and the worse of all that supposed to be my first SPA massage...

Just left this place 5 minutes ago and had to write this review. We had a couple massage for Valentine’s date today scheduled for 1pm and we came 45 minutes early as they do suggest to come at least 30 minutes early. But I have never been to a spa where the masseuse are the ones late for the appointment. We booked an hour massage but they were 10 minutes late. They open the door at our room at 1:10 and finished the massage 2:04 pm. So you cut us 6 minutes short. Okay. My massage was just okay, nothing special about it (for such a luxury spa), the massage for my boyfriend was not good at all. His masseuse just kept digging and digging and holding pressure. Not relaxing or comfortable at all. We both couldn’t wait for the massage to be over. It was an hour of pain and sometimes you think maybe this is what your body needs—but it was just excruciating—the whole experience. The cherry on top was, the lady on the front desk asked us for the gratuity if we wanted to give cash or card. Even though we aren’t happy with our massage we still tipped. The lady in the front desk then told me that “they require 20% tip” I said I have never been to a spa where there is a certain percent of tip REQUIRED. First of all, Gratuity is given because the service was appreciated or because it was fantastic. And second of all, YOUR policy at your website says “it is customary to give 15-20% tip but of course it is at YOUR discretion” —meaning the customer’s discretion. I even attached the photo as a reminder to the staff, especially the lady at the front desk. Please read your own policy before you tell your customers and force...

I had scheduled a 90 minute relaxation massage. I ended up having a treatment with Sharon, who was so incredible. As someone who regularly gets Thai massages, her therapeutic style was completely new to me. Although I had signed up for a relaxation massage I think it was pure kismet because Sharon is probably one of the most intuitive masseuses I’ve ever had. The massage was Comparable to a deep tissue but even more focused. At 48 years old I already have arthritis in my lower back and had a lot of tightness in my glutes and traps. Sharon explained all of the movements that she was doing, and even when there was painful pressure, she would lightly blow in my back and try to make it as manageable as possible. The next day, my back feels so much looser. I am glad that I chose to see her as I have stayed a number of times at Pacific Palm, but never made use of their spa. Though they don’t have a sauna, I was able to pay extra to use the facilities, including the steam room and Jacuzzi. I was the only one there. I think they have a nice set up if you’d like to go earlier perhaps have day use. I would absolutely recommend the spa it is well-maintained and I have not had the facial, but I’ve heard good things about their aesthetician. Overall, Pacific palms over the last five years has become my husband and my go to for staycations. It’s like we can go to Las Vegas, but with no crowds and we don’t have to leave the premises. ;) We usually eat at the Red restaurant and make use of the pool. This spa experience was just icing...
