Lock City Books — Local services in City of Lockport

We were delighted to utilize the awesome space at Lock City Books for a book-themed baby shower! The shop features new, used, children’s, YA, and adult books as well as fun novelties. The small stage was perfect for gift opening and our Jeopardy shower game. Our guests loved petting the two friendly kitties in the front enclosure and perusing the shop before, during, and after the shower! The owner, Holly, took care of so many things for us, including setting up rental tables and chairs we needed and made herself available for all of our questions. The shop is located next to a cute coffee shop, and there was ample nearby parking. Our cookies were provided by Shell’s Sweets, and our taco bar was catered by Santora’s. This is bookstore is an absolute GEM! The owner is awesome and super friendly and chill, the cats are so cute, there's mostly new books and also a selection of used books. There's bookmarks made by local artists too. Order your books through here! They're comparable to amazon in price and oftentimes a better deal too. Lock City Books is a treasure, plain and simple. Its selection of books, both for adults and children, is extraordinary for a small bookstore and the cats!
