The Penalty Box — Restaurant in City of Lockport

My family wanted a change for movie night so we ordered chicken fingers and fries. The wait staff was polite but not very informative when asked about portions and sizes. While I liked being able to order takeout, the fact that I had to walk in to pay for and get my order was a small hassle with no parking available. The worst part was that the place was crammed shoulder to shoulder without a single mask to be seen aside from the staff. It was very unnerving. I'm sad to say I was not very impressed with the food. The price, $10 before tax for each, wasn't awful but would have been better if the quality was better. We got exactly what we could have made ourselves from store bought frozen products. Absolutely no difference whatsoever aside from the price. We've made the exact same things for around $2.00 per person. So many food places use the same items and we had only wished for something better than that. Anything different would have made it worthwhile. We had an hour and a half between games, so stopped in for lunch. I ended up not ordering because it was too close to the next game by time our order was taken. I had to leave while the rest of the family was just getting food. Not that busy, 20 minutes for the waitress to check on refills, gave us 2 napkins for 6 people, i tried to order through the bartender, and he didnt allow us which is ridiculous, waited another 15 minutes after that to order, even though he said someone would be right over. They forgot an item we ordered. One item came out 5-10 minutes after the others. The forgotten item was well after that, someone else had to pay for that since i had to leave. It’s connected to the ice rink the atmosphere is really nice it’s my favorite bar over all the drinks are good I wouldn’t say that the staff is the friendliest the women are very nice but the male bartender maybe his name is John? He looks like one lol I don’t know he does his job alright but he’s not too friendly got to be honest dealt with him a handful of times, not fond of him a couple of the girls that I’ve taken over there have picked up on it as well.
