Market Fresh Supermarket — Attraction in City of Middletown

I went there Friday July 5th there was this lady named Don Marie I went up to her register her light was off but I noticed she was helping other customers I didn't know if the light was broken so hence the reason I walked up to her register. She proceeded to tell me she was closed no problem I went to the next register why is it that and older Spanish lady and her son came to the line I was cashing out at and she called them from the register turns on her light and says "I can help you" so I asked her "I thought you said you were closed?" She has the nerve to LIE to my face and tells me she's was "waiting for the customer" I've worked in customer service for over 10 years! If you were "waiting" for that customer that customer would've known to go straight to your register and not another line. I did make a complaint to the manager he's response is "I'll have a talk with her" I'm quite sure that talk never happened he wasn't apologetic or anything, he definitely shouldnt be in mamangment. Or maybe he lied too and she he was the manager. What she did was wrong and wants to help only her people and that's SICK!!!! She getting PAID to do a job and picking and choosing who she wants to help. I always shop at Market Fresh and because of this incident I will NEVERRRRR step foot in ANY Market Fresh establishment! And I will let EVERYONEEEE I know family and friends to NOT shop there and I know a bunch of people that shop there. I hope this business runs into the ground having people like her work there SMHHHHHH 😡😡😡😡😡😡 There meat section and produce section is always TRASH always got rotten fruits and veggies and green meat 😂🤣🤣🤣 they will shut down VERYYYYY SOONNNN!!!! 😛😛😜😜 That's why they're so expensive now because there products aren't selling so they choose to increase there prices as if that'll work 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ they're lucky I can't find a cooperate number to call and make a complaint if anyone knows it please comment the # below. I didn't want to waste my time asking...

Hi Everybody

I like to go to supermarkets and food stores where the customer does not have to be checking for expired products, old vegetable products packed as fresh and where they label the product and scan the same when at the cash register. I bought apples at $0.79 per pound and nevertheless was charged $1.39 per pound. I bought zucchini on a plastic that looks ok but the back of the zucchinis were already old. I was distracted by the fact the manager was making unhappy face when the customer in front of me asked to be discounted on her turkey purchase because of the promotion they have on the store.

The Coffee is on sale, when I scanned the product using my iPhone App, Walmart has it for almost $2.00 cheaper....ouch

It is not about the pennies, or a dollar or two I lost while buying my apples because I did not put my mind what the cashier was scanning....it is all about service and quality and competition...

wonder if it is worthy to go back to the supermarket.

Please be aware that this kind of supermarkets target people that has not choice but to pay what...

Upon my arrival to get fresh fruit for my 3rd time ever to this store thr produce manager was putting strawberries on the shelf I pointed out several new strawberries had mold on them. Asked if he had any different he said “they are fresh” He proceeded to take the moldy strawberries out and put the strawberries back on the shelf. I told him sir that’s wrong. He said oh well. I asked is there a manager? He said I am. Talked to another guy at the front he told me they are suppose to send it back to the company.

I ended up leaving because I went there for fruit for my sons school snacks and now cannot trust it’s not even moldy because of what I watched… please be care at this...
