By far one of the worse customer experiences I ever had by any staff member, let alone the restaurant owner. Food is average but waitresses are good most of the time. We’ve been here several times before, however today we decided to bring our toddler. After receiving our meal my son decided to play with his McQueen 🚘 set. He was playing with his cars along our table and inside end window. I noticed Owner looking at our table & kept eye balling my son, finally she passed by us and said under her breath “scratches ha” smirking 😏 and annoyed at my child’s presence. We found her behavior offensive, there was no need for that. There were other kids screaming and crying 😭 which is understandable since we were in a public place. My husband and I were startled by her demeanor & decided to leave halfway through our meal. She could’ve approached us about it. Or try to see for herself before making any remarks. As I walk out She was by the doo & made a point to advise her to check her furniture before we left to make sure there was no damage. If so, we could have take care of it. Her mean response was “I didn’t say anything” & proceeded to walk away as I was speaking to her. She also commented “he scratches your house furniture as well” I remain polite because I understand her concerns, unfortunately is the nature of business. She should prohibit toddlers, to avoid scratches, screaming, crying or any sort of toddler interaction. We’ll never be...
Read moreThis visit may be our last. The waitress was atrocious. She made three mistakes with our order, and when we told her about the first one (she brought us spaghetti instead of penne) she argued with all of us stating we did not ask for penne pasta. So, even though we all heard the same thing, she told us we were wrong. I ordered a hamburger deluxe, she asked me, with attitude three times "but what kind?" I answered, hamburger deluxe each time. She then flipped open my menu and pointed to this part of the menu and repeated, with sarcasm: "what kind, plain or with cheese?" You know how the burgers are listed on a diner menu each type of burger is listed separately- so I don't know what her problem was. She never asked if we needed anything else, then she passed by our table twice as my husband was trying to ask for the check and each time she just held up her hand in gesture for him to wait, and did not ask what he needed. Yet she went to the table in front of us and chatted with them for about three minutes only to walk past us the second time throwing up a hand for him to wait! Horrible, ...
Read morePicture this, it's your favorite time of year, Christmas. You enjoy a beautiful concert with a choir full of Christmas music. You go for a nice walk to a Diner ppl keep talking about, wanted to try it for a while. Get in, there is Christmas music playing, the atmosphere is amazing. You sit down and your waitress is so impatient and rude. It's your first time to this Diner, so you don't know what you want in a minute. She rolled her eyes when I said I had questions and I asked what the soup of the day was. Then she was constantly on top of me for an order, she came back 4 times when I asked for a few minutes, she would go away for 30 seconds and come back. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe, medium and she put well done, so the burger was over cooked. There was no mayo on my bun, so I had to ask for more. When I needed a refill, she was sitting down at a booth to count her tips. It just ruined, the whole experience for me. Maybe I will give this Diner another try, but not for a bit. So rude, the service was so horrible, it ruined...
