Willson's Woods Swimming Pool is a hidden gem! Nestled in the heart of Mount Vernon, this pool is the perfect summer oasis.
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The pool itself is clean and well-maintained, with crystal clear waters that are just begging to be swam in. Whether you want to do laps or just float around on a pool noodle, there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.
One of the highlights of Willson's Woods is the water slides. They are fast, thrilling, and guaranteed to make you scream with joy (or maybe a bit of fear!). The adrenaline rush you experience as you zoom down the slide and splash into the pool is truly unmatched.
If you need a break from the water, there are also picnic areas and a concession stand where you can grab a bite to eat. The food is your typical pool fare – hot dogs, hamburgers, and maybe even some ice cream if you're feeling indulgent.
Overall, Willson's Woods Swimming Pool is a fantastic place to spend a summer day. Whether you're looking for a fun activity with friends or a relaxing way to beat the heat, this pool has it all. Don't miss out on the opportunity to splash and slide your way to summer fun at Willson's Woods...
Read moreSpoke with a manager named Jennifer who was unhelpful and conscending. She directed me to a man named Mark who supposedly a park director of some sort. Mark's behavior was plain disrespectful. I greeted him and explained the situation and the whole time he kept his head turned and said "they're just doing their job." He was not listening to a word I said ( I never alluded to someone not doing their job) and when I pointed out that he would not even eye contact with me he finally turned his head to me and said "Ma'am it's on the website somewhere, I don't know where but somewhere." I had the website opened on my phone so he could show me and he would not even look at it.
Here is my issue. There was absolutely no sense of courtesy let alone respect shown to me. I was not loud, combative, or angry. They saw me and were immediately dismissive of what I was talking about. I am more than certain that I had a been a white woman, I would have been taken more seriously. I will be contacting the Parks Dept of Westechester to fix the discrepancy on...
Read moreJuly 4 I arrived with my 5 year old my 65 year old mother and 82 year old grandmother so at that point I was already done. After waiting on a long line to purchase tickets the prices was higher than usual, they said its because of the holiday. My mom asked to speak with a supervisor because they weren't giving senior citizen prices especially when they weren't even going into the water. A BIG Madea looking girl who said she was one of the supervisor was dismissive to my mom's and was of no help so we decided to leave. Apon leaving a nice employee at security check point helped us we got pass for my grandmother which made the price lower so we decided to stay. When we got inside it was crowded but my son was excited so I had to make the best of it. When it was time to eat all the table was taken up by people hanging out and not eating so I had to ask the park ranger to free up one of the tables.Overall it was not a good visit. Thanks to the Jamaican lady who helped us get in though Big...
