Wicker Paradise — Local services in City of Mount Vernon

I am an interior decorator in Nashville Tennessee. My client was looking for "traditional white wicker" patio furniture. In a world of trendy modern furniture with random nuts and bolts from IKEA. I stumbled upon Wicker Paradise in Mt. Vernon NY. I could NOT find anything around town that compares to this look. I definitely took a gamble buying patio furniture sight unseen. It worked! I called Wicker Paradise and actually got a real alive U.S. human within three rings. The lovely gentleman who answered quickly realized I might need to speak to a manager or owner, once he heard where I was calling from and our situation. ( He may have not understood my southern accent!) That's ok, no one is perfect! Vince, the owner was so easy to work with! The debit card exceeded the daily amount for our desired order, but he handled this with care and ease. Simply dividing to two payments over 24 hours.(happens all the time) It was like speaking with family or Uncle Vince! I spoke a few times with Greg in accounts or billing. He is so sweet. I had some questions and he took the time to answer everything professionally. Our furniture was delivered right on time. The delivery guy was great! Our furniture came in boxes that were damage free and the furniture is wonderful! It is so comfortable and sturdy. I can honestly say this business is the real deal. Based on the way this business has treated me and my family, I wouldn’t buy from them even if it was free. I’ve seen an email where they were attempting extortion (by holding onto a refund) unless the slanderous review was removed. Well, this dullard of a business owner needs to learn to read. Slander is an act or crime of making false statements. It isn’t slanderous, If it’s true. This business got an order incorrect, not 1 time, but 2. That gave them, 2 chances to screw up royally.

We called to get the correct order, and they send out a second order, even expedited the wrong order. Then, stated they no longer want to do business. We then write a poor review because they did a poor job getting the order right (twice). And our refund is withheld until we remove the negative review.

Here is the negative review. This is America. We fight injustice at every turn. This company has tried to make hard working, good paying customers out be the bad guy. They had no problem taking our money, but voice your opinion on something they had multiple chances at correcting and that’s your last straw friend.

Do yourself a favor, avoid this place like the plague it is and when they finally realize that they can’t treat their customers like this it’ll be too late. They will have lost all reputation and will just suffer the fate of most small business without quality or character, 2 day prime from amazon.

Had a great experience with Wicker Paradise! I needed replacement cushions for some old Brown Jordan patio furniture. I found a great coupon code which also led me to my $2000 purchase! Haha. I found great color combinations, loved the fabric colors offered! I confirmed with the owner in regards to the selection and choice before I made it, they were super informative. I did choose the Sunbrella fabric, because in California, it gets constant sun all day long. They also confirmed there would be a shipping delay due to Covid. Product arrived sooner than expected, boxes were a little haggard, but pads were fine and packaged nicely. I love the colors I chose. Material and workmanship look great, and feel great! They are really spot on to the original Brown Jordan pads, which I’m sure is 4x as much.... bummed the weather will be changing soon, so I won’t be able to enjoy them as much as I would like.
