Boys Auto Repair — Attraction in City of Newburgh

Nice little local auto repair shop. Its evident they are a trusted mechanic considering they are always busy and their lot is always full. I called to see if I can get some work done ASAP, and Tiffany was exceptional! She had to double check appointments for the following day, then returned my call promptly to confirm, along with what I can expect to pay for the work. No surprises for unnecessary services I did not request... unlike some other shops. Alex (owner) also pleasantly surprised me (in a good way) when he asked if the motor in my car was original. Given that my car has had a motor swap, this impressed me… many people wouldn’t notice. Subarus seem to be the most confusing cars for mechanics except for my one guy – this clearly told me the guy knows his cars. Good...

My car broke down and I was 1hour away from home, I found Boys Auto Repair on Google. Turns out my air conditioning compressor froze up and broke the serpentine belt. It was Saturday on a holiday weekend no appointment, just walked in. Alex promised me he’d get it done and he delivered!!! Got my car back exactly when he said it would be ready. Friendly and excellent service at a reasonable price too. I would highly recommend using them if ever in need of auto repairs. This place is great!!! Thanks again Alex I will definitely spread the word about you guys and if I’m ever in need again on that side of the river I wouldn’t even hesitate in giving you a call. I had a flat tire and luckily pulled over into the parking lot of Boys Auto! Alex immediately came to help me, pulled my car into the shop and onto a jack, and patched up my tire. He let me know that the location of the hole is on the edge, so I may want to look into replacing the tire sooner than later. A tow truck would have been an hour wait and I was on my way to work at a school and needed to get there as soon as possible. My tire was slashed from what I thought was beyond repair but today it is still fine! You will not get better service, nor is there a kinder more professional mechanic than Alex at Boys Auto! If I lived in the neighborhood I would not be taking my car...
