I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hurricane Grill & Wings in Newburgh, NY, for a corporate meeting, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The staff provided excellent service, and the location by a serene little lake added to the ambiance. While I would have appreciated a halal menu option, the exceptional customer service and ample parking made up for it.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to accommodate our needs. The staff members were attentive, efficient, and made sure our corporate meeting ran smoothly. One aspect I wish could be improved upon is the availability of a halal menu. As a customer with dietary restrictions, I found the options limited to fish due to the absence of a specific halal menu. It would be wonderful if the restaurant could consider including halal choices to cater to a wider range of customers. Despite this limitation, the staff members were accommodating and provided excellent service, which helped mitigate any disappointment.

To be honest, I wish I could give this place 2 and a half stars, cause the two times I went here, my experience were the polar opposites of each other.

The first time, both the service and food were excellent. My waitress did make a mistake a slight mistake with my dessert. I ordered a key lime pie, but they brought out a lava cake instead, which I assumed she just brought it too the wrong table (I remember thinking that it did look good), but she apologized and quickly fixed it. However they charged me for both the lava cake and the pie. I pointed this out, but then told them that instead of going through the trouble of taking it off my check, that instead I would take the lava cake.

I thought this would be more convienent for them but I guess not, because the second time I was there, the host didn't want to seat me, despite me waiting for a while (that or I guess I was invisible). Not even a "I'll be with you in just one moment" as she seated the people that came in after me. It took another waitress to notice that I was waiting for a long time to ask if I was being served, and since I was already waiting for a while I decided that I'll just order takeout, after explaining my frustration. She explained to the hostest that I had been waiting for a while, and asked her to have my order out as fast as possible, to which she replayed, without an apology or anything, that it will take 15 mins or more. Keep in mind, I just ordered some wings and nothing else. I know how to make wings, and while if this was a normal situation, 15+ mins would be an accepable amount of wait time, considering other guests and everything, but I guess there were in no hurry to make up for my additional wait time.

I obviously left frustrated and while it would be satisfying to give this a 1 star review in anger, it wouldn't be fair since this was not my only experience at this place, and the one time I was served food here, it was good. But despite this I probably will not be returning here, at least for a while, since it's clear, at least to me, that they are not interested in...

My name is James Carter, My wife Barbara and I would like to express how pleased we are and were with the service we received at your Newburgh Location. The food was Amazing, but the service was SPECTACULAR. My wife and i have very trying schedules so moments we get to go out and share a meal is very special. First I would like to speak on the meal . the food was so good, the presentations was great. so who ever was the chef on 09/21/18 at 12 pm please express our thank and appreciation. Now the good part. I would love if you recongize and express Our appreciation for SHARILYN , SAIDE, and Our Server BRANDON. We feel they went above and beyond the meaning customer services. Brandon was very welcoming , attentive and thorough with us from beginning to end. he was very knowledgeable of the menu and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant although it was very busy. Sharilyn and Saide, thes ladies are AWESOME. Although I ordered my drink at the bar. They offered to bring it to my seat. after i started to enjoy my vodka cranberry they both came to check on me at my table to see how i was enjoying my drink. offered me another and also helped me as a football fan know about certain special and deals and events that are coming up at your restaurant. Most restaurants for get the WE as customers have several options to pick from. CLEARLY the Owners, Management and Staff at the Newburgh Hurricane Wings & Grill keeps that in the for front of there mind. i only wish I could tip these wonderful staff members of yours equally to the experience we had. Hopefully you as Ownership , Management can help me express our gratitude for there outstanding customer service appropriately.
