The claim of first come first serve then “this is for families only” is not okay. It’s also not okay to continue to have staff and volunteers who single someone out because they try to not waste time hearing people TALK about the food versus letting them see it for themselves, especially for someone like me who has dietary restrictions and health issues regarding them. Also it’s not okay to get nasty to people when other visitors start talking about politics and the person speaking up for minorities, disabled folks, and those who have been done wrong are silenced by threats from your janitor. I still have the video of this happening and was threatened with police for filming when they started being horrendous and telling me to leave the building when I had been in there first, not bothering anyone until I spoke against some very nasty words- guy was talking smack about ST. I spoke to "Tanya", I asked her if they currently had any furniture for sale at their thrift store. She said, "usually people walk into the store and look for themselves", I'm not sure if she was trying to be uncooperative, having a bad day, or if she's trying to maintain an ambience of ignorance that can be found nowhere else? At this point it doesn't matter if they're giving away gold bullion, who wants to attach themselves to that kind of...
