It was cute! Looks like a little sunken castle that has meshed with the soil and plants to create this now sunken garden. My daughter and I enjoyed our brief visit there and took plenty of pictures. There were other people who were around and enjoyed the place as an outing or a romantic lunch picnic. Children seemed to enjoy playing with the “dungeon gates.” We ventured to the back of the structure where we were able to enter the dungeon as take pictures to the amusement of people looking at us from the other side.
Would be great if they would let visitors into the house/castle in the front or if they could open it and use it as gift store...
Read moreThis is such a cool unique and sort of secret spot. It's very beautiful and peaceful here, well kept and such a lovely place to relax and enjoy a nice afternoon. It is one of those special places that just feel distinctively "Rochester" while also feeling like maybe you've found some type of escape portal. Definitely walk up the stairs and see Warner Castle if you're already here. If you're coming down from Warner Castle, then you can continue hiking through Highland Park's forests as you leave this place.
