I’ve been shopping for the right hot tub for quite some time. After many different showrooms, dealers, trade shows, web site reviews, youtube videos, conversations with so many spa owners, I realized it came down to not just the right Spa, but the right dealer that would be there when the Spa breaks.
The bottom line is you want a good working Spa, a reputable company, a long warranty and a service technician close by that knows what he is doing.
When I found the Spa Wholesalers on the web, I called the owner Mark and met him at his showroom. He gave me a tour of other models that he does not sell so I can see the difference between the competition and his spas. I was already prepared with a lot of knowledge before meeting with Mark and was pleasantly surprised to hear all he had to say was reality and not just a sales pitch.
His website boasts you can reach him anytime so I put it to the test before purchase. Sure enough, you can reach him morning, day, night, weekends, does not matter. If he is not available, he does call you back. Not once did he call me pushing me to make a purchase. No high pressure sales tactics which really made me feel great.
I wanted a fancy spa with all the bells and whistles. Mark will surely try and talk you out of it and tell you to not waste your money. Any other dealer I spoke to tried to up sell me on everything. Like Mark says, why bother getting a stereo system when the manufacturers only offer a one year warranty? It’s a short warranty because they break. He can certainly make more money on the up sells, but knows he will have headaches with warranty calls and upset clients.
I would call other dealers such as Master Spa and it would take days to get a return call from the sales people. Imagine how terrible their warranty service would be if I can’t even get a salesman to call me back? I did order my custom Spa and as Mark said, would be just a few weeks for delivery. His guys delivered and showed me how to use the Spa, chemicals, etc. They do not wait at your home till it fills up as that would take hours.
I have the Spa for a month and love it. I had many questions in the days after and never a problem getting Mark when you need him. The manufacturer forgot to install my Wi-Fi and Mark was quick to get them on the phone and mail me out the Wi-Fi component needed. No hassles. Just the right way to do business.

Read moreWe have had a very unusual situation with our tub being shipped here from Kansas when my husband's job transferred us to Vermont. Anyone who lives here knows good/honest people are very hard to come by, plus Vermont is lacking many of the necessary resources that involve getting a hot tub up and running. I searched “hot tubs near me” in google and The Spa Wholesaler came up with rave reviews. I reached out and spoke to both Jeff and Mark several times to have tub moved from garage to cement pad, the correct chemicals to use to get the water where it needed to be and also a circulation pump replacement. Mark was great with writing up an estimate for the cost of parts so we get reimbursed for the pump and hot tub cover that was damaged by our moving company. We, of course were so appreciative for all he did and for his patience with each call. 6 months went by with no issues until again, the tub stopped working. I reached out on a Friday night and Mark was happy to tell me the necessary steps I needed to do to walk me through the process of finding out the problem. I had to go to hardware store in the morning and get a fuse tester so he could diagnose the tub…he and I were hoping it was only a fuse. Again, Mark was very patient while I tested all the fuses and finally found the last one to be the problem. I replaced that fuse and was amazed that it did work. I honestly thought this was going to be a long and costly fix and I’m sure it would have been if Mark had to send his guys my way. But instead he took the time to help me and walk me through this process at no cost to me at all. Can’t say how much I appreciated his help. In a world without much goodness it’s nice to see some people are good and also very hard working….to be available to a customer at all hours and on weekends that’s quite great work ethic!!...

One started leaking, so I replaced it with a barely used one from a random person, that started leaking, so I decided to buy a new one. I have bought 7 hot tubs in the past, this was by far the easiest transaction. The dynamic duo of Jeff and Mark are awesome, within 36 hours of first contact I had a no haggle, self maintaining, beautiful hot tub, delivered and installed, ready to use for my incoming guests today. I just can't imagine a smoother way to buy a hot tub. I have done all the research and bought from all sorts of places, nothing compares to this experience. I never had to go to the showroom, didn't have to negotiate (GREAT PRICE), didn't have to be on site for installation, just a couple phone calls, some great conversation and done. If you buy your hot tub from someone else then you are making a big mistake. And good luck down the road when it breaks, the follow up service from these guys is second to none. If my guest has an issue with the tub, these guys take the call, I never have to problem solve. That alone is worth the price of the tub. This was so smooth and gives me so much peace of mind that I may just replace all my current tubs with new ones from them.
