Rusty’s — Restaurant in City of Watervliet

For some reason I can’t review this on Grubhub. I ordered food at 336. It said estimated arrival time 446. At 453 I called to see about how much longer. I was put on hold. I waited 5 minutes. I hung up and called again. Another hold for 5 minutes. I called again more times and finally got a person for more than hold please at 507. He said it would be a couple minutes the driver just left. I called at 537 asking if I should cancel my order. I was told he would call the driver and told me to hold on. The call was disconnected. I called back I was told he didn’t hang up on me and that they were busy. I said can I just cancel the order. He said the driver is probably at your house now. He wasn’t very nice at all. I ended up calling 9 times after my estimated delivery time. I understand they were busy. The app was never updated with progress of my order. It was finally delivered at 554. I was told he was the only driver. I told him the person who kept answering was super rude. He said he was sorry. The food was cold which isn’t surprising because it was an hour late. I bought a 20 oz can and a 12 oz can was sent. They have 3 options 12 oz $1, 20 oz $1.75 and 2 liter $2.75. I will never order from there again. If I can review this on Grubhub I will. I don’t need to be yelled at for checking...

Beyond furious. Ordered a 12 cut pizza and dozen wings at 9:30pm. We were still waiting at 11:50pm. Called at 11, the guy said delivery would be there any minute. Called 10 minutes later, he tells me the delivery girl is still in Cohoes. I work in Cohoes, so I know it doesn't take another 40 minutes to get here from there. She called and said she was having a hard time finding us, which is expected, but she was right there. The food wasn't anywhere near warm, and it was midnight by the time we finally sat down to eat. I understand being busy, but we live 5 minutes away, and it took 2 and a half hours to get our food. Not only that, but the guy answering the phone outright lied to us the first time we called, saying it would be at our door at any minute. I ordered off GrubHub, and their estimated delivery time was 10:35 - 11:00. Even that would have been more acceptable. I also used a $5.00 gift card they gave me. Very angry that I used that. The food is usually great, so this is disappointing. I will not be ordering from here any time soon. In fact, if I could have cancelled my order and gotten a refund after the first call, I would have. Very upset that I tipped ahead...

Hidden charm of Watervliet. Great food! I've been ordering from here for over 20 years now and never have had a bad meal. I go out of my way to order and drive here although I live in a different town with plenty of pizza places. Most recently I've tried different calzone options and they are all delicious! Good ingredients, large portions, baked perfectly. In the past I've eaten multiple great pizzas and wings, but those calzones are the best!!! 5 stars for the food! Only giving 4/5 stars because the outside of the business has not been painted or improved in the last 20 years. Looks very rough on the outside and if I didnt know already their food is fantastic I wouldn't try them or walk inside. Invest in a coat of paint and please add one chair inside. If I show up a few minutes early I have to stand there or go back out to my car to sit and both options are painful to me. I have bad hips so walking and standing are issues and I hurt either way. A chair would be greatly appreciated by your disabled customers. Thank you...
