To whomever concern,
Today March 17, 2024 around 3:41 A.M I experienced a very uncomfortable situation by two Security Officers of the Empire City Casino.
I was harassed , discriminated and intimidated by Two Security Officer of this place.
I am a full time RideShare Driver who works for Uber and Lyft company. Today, one of the two security officers of Yonkers Empire casino came up to me very aggressive.
long Story Short.
For a moment, i thought it was a cop who wanted to passed through since i saw the lights while i was waiting in line for a rider ; so i decided to move after i was hunk at by the security in a white SUV jeep two times and I let the way clear for him.
But instead he ended up wanting to take the spot i was at. Once i moved, which clearly it was a sign of intimidation and marking his territory like animals at the jungles do. He took the spot, no matter what and it wasnt enough for him so he wanted more to full-fill his insecurity weakness of power. After i moved, he then approached me to my window of my jeep along with his boss, Head of Security, to have a conversation with me. You know that type of movie scene where one has a title of authority and feels superiority because deep inside doesn't have the balls to talk alone like a man. So he needs his back up second Guy to give him support, minus well head of the security to stable his manhood insecurity. LOL
He argued that i didnt let him go through, however i was apologetic and i explained him that i didnt know he wanted to take the spot i was at.. common sense if a person is in a car waiting, there’s no way to guess what other people are thinking outside. right? Unless that driver has a super natural power to guess what other people outside their vehicles are thinking. DUH!
He took a picture of my plate and told me he was going to report me with Uber and Lyft so that i can get fired.
Claiming on video while i was recording him that only Taxit Drivers from Yonkers with plates can operate there. Like if he is the supreme court judge and he makes the laws because he is security and he has the last word to say. Once i felt intimidated by his response of reporting my jobs, a job that feeds my family, i started telling him i am leaving however if he reports me, i will report him too with Empire city casino.
I am a citizen and even though my blood is spanish and i look black i have Constitutional rights, just like him and anybody else because thats what makes America Great. Just like Trump says all the time! This is not India or any third world country.
To you Security who is reading this, i will tell you very simple the following.
If you are getting any type of benefit in any kind of way or if you are a corrupt security who is advocating in favor of the Local Taxit drivers of Yonkers so they only can work at the casino, well guess what, there are laws in this country.
You dont come here and tell people what to do because you dont make law.
I am protected by the constitution and by the rideshare companies because Customers have the right to choose who their drivers are if is local taxit or platforms like Uber or Lyft. Or tell me something are you going to prohibit all customers not to use Lyft or Uber at the Empire casino of Yonkers? Who are you? George Washington?
This is United State, and if you report me, i have proof on video and i can destroy you too. I wont care about your family needs if you dont care about mine. I will keep going there to pick up customers unless you want more problem is fine with me. I know the casino is private property But guess what? customers have the right to choose their drivers and there are laws that protects drivers and Customers! Dont get it twist it.
And for your information, besides i am a driver i am also a customer because i consume and play at the casino once in while and if i am not doing nothing ilegal you can’t keep me out! Unless you want a law suit, is fine with me.
Attached to this review , to whoever is reading this will see their faces, these are the security...

Not a gambler but I will try something small every now and then. 1st of all, the food in the back food court is straight up nasty and overpriced. How do you mess up chicken wings. The one highlight is the staff back there were amazing. Especially the cashier. I have never seen a food court so empty.
2nd visit the next day my husband wanted to go back because he found a machine he liked. Well I put my items in a medium size coach backpack. (Water, medicine, hand sanitizer, etc. everything a woman puts in her purse. The day b4 I loss my phone and my glasses (retracing my steps, I found them) due to the lil pouch I had could not hold everything, hence the reason I had the pack the next day.
Security would not let my husband in with the pack staying no backpacks allowed. I stated I under stood and that it wasn’t a backpack, it’s a purse. I open it up to no avail. He was rude and wave his hands like a stock raving fool. Dismissing anything I said; so I said FU. He got even more angrier and said I was going to call the manager for you but now I’m not doing anything. He turns to another guard and started explaining what had just happened loudly and animated. The 2nd just stood there like this really isn’t that serious. Meanwhile the rude one is still checking people in while rudely/loudly talking. I noticed he let a woman in with a large purse and a large tote bag. I’m like are you kidding me. Her bags were much longer than mines but because mines was consider a backpack I got flagged. I than asked him 6x can I get a manager because he kept dismissing me.
He called for a manager stating the lie that I cussed him out. 2 men in black suits showed up and 1 other guard. He started talking immediately pleading his case while turning beet red. So I stepped up and said sir I am the person he called for. I stated what happened including the FU and the guard in questioned just kept talking loudly that I cussed him out. The heavy set manager asked did I cuss him out and I stated what I previously said and he said ‘I’m going to have to ask you to leave for tonight but you can come back tomorrow. So I said…..if I had said I did even say FU you guys would still told me to leave just to appease the disrespectful guard actions. Why would I ever come back to a place like this or recommend it too anyone.
Please note that the guard that came with the 2 managers never spoke, nor did the other manager or the 2nd guard that was there initially. However, their demeanor spoke volumes. They just came off as are we really here disputing something so petty and instigators over zealous need to prove he was superior. After AI take over a lot of these jobs ……….we are going to be on our knees a whole lot more.

This place is notorious for exploiting players, especially high-limit bettors. Their so-called "high-limit area" is a joke. If you’re making big or max bets, don’t expect to see any jackpots. The odds seem deliberately stacked against you, and we have evidence that they manipulate slot machines when you're playing with your players card. This isn't just speculation—they were caught rigging contests and games back in 2009, and that information is public. A recent hack even exposed how they can control slot odds remotely through their central server.
But it doesn’t end there. They treat their VIP players terribly. I've visited over 45 different casinos, and I can confidently say this is the worst experience I've ever had. Their free play offers are insulting—they bait you into gambling thousands, only to throw a measly $10 of free play back at you. It's a complete scam.
Please, do yourself a favor and avoid Empire City Casino. You’ll save your money, your time, and a whole lot of frustration. Instead, consider reputable alternatives like Atlantic City or Foxwoods, where you’re more likely to get a fair shake. This casino needs to be shut down immediately—it’s a stain on the entire industry. Take a close look around Empire City Casino, and you'll notice a troubling atmosphere. Many gamblers are visibly frustrated—angrily slapping buttons, hitting screens, and wearing expressions of disappointment and despair. Rarely do you see anyone celebrating a jackpot win, and that’s because this place is nothing short of a scam.
What you might not realize is that this casino is run by the New York State Lottery, and their so-called "slots" are actually VLTs—Video Lottery Terminals. Unlike traditional slot machines, where each spin is independent, VLTs pool all players into a collective game where you're competing against each other for a cash prize. This setup makes it feel nearly impossible to win anything substantial, and it’s no wonder you don’t see much excitement on the casino floor.
It’s also clear that this casino doesn’t favor high-stakes bettors. The payback percentage is abysmally low, and big bettors stand to lose a lot more than they could ever hope to win. The odds are stacked against you in a way that guarantees severe losses if you choose to gamble here.
If you're serious about gambling, do yourself a favor and avoid Empire City Casino. Instead, head to Atlantic City or another reputable location where the odds are fairer, and the experience is far more enjoyable. This place is a trap that will drain your money and leave you with...
