Two years ago I encountered this gallery and saw the exhibit, Staying Curious, by Stephen Schlegel. It was depicted as an event that will make your eyes smile. I didn’t stay long yet I was captivated. Stephen was there and we talked briefly about his art work. He gave me some M&M candies with an imprint of his logo. 2021 I revisited this gallery and was moved by the new art work and photographs. I saw Stephen again but he looked different in his photograph. He was in military attire. As always, his sculpture beside his photograph looked playful and made the eyes smile. I talked to Toni and Shane at the front desk. The art displayed in the gallery was impressive. I liked how you could buy small pieces for affordable prices. I bought three framed photographs. Talked to a couple of people. A few children came in and told me about their favorite art pieces. One of them liked the red cardinal bird painting. His brother liked the CDs crafted into butterflies and the light bulb used to make a spider. My favorite one art pieces were the photographs I bought of the angel, the Smokey Mountains, and lightening. They were framed and matted- 3 for $10. I, also, liked the silver dragonfly and skeleton key earrings. The last items I liked were the black and white photograph of the merry go round with a menacing head poking through the trees and background by Shane and the simple portrait and sketch of a woman’s face in charcoal and pencil.

We went to view the Wild Side show curated by Jennifer Pierstorff and were amazed at all of the incredible works of art on display! Even if you can't afford a large original piece, there are many beautiful prints and cards available for purchase.

There were so many arts by local artists. They open for public and the place creat a community and good place for people who have enthusiastic for art. The arts are sold so you can buy them if you want.

In historic downtown Clarksville, an old storefront serves well as the Downtown Artist Cooperative - A showcase of regional artistic talents that include photography, paintings, textile works, jewelry and other forms. Much of what you see is for sale and the exhibits change to feature specific artists or art forms. Admission is free and there is always someone there to help you find something special. There is a scenic overlook just down the block with a great view of the river and historic part of town. This is really...
