Downtown Commons — Attraction in Clarksville

It's the thought that counts? I am always happy to see investment in our downtown. I avoided all the politics surrounding this project but to give an honest review, I'd have to say that I have never seen an event take place at the commons. Sure they have occurred but most of the time the space remains unused. Perhaps a splash pad and other after hours attractions could be incorporated here. I would go as far as supporting the commissioning of a statue 🗽🗿 or landmark of some sort that would draw people to the commons. Great they have the ice skating ring.. Also a water sprinkler so that the children can play. They have a live band/ music, food vendors . Drinks ( 21 and up beer $ 5.00). This was last Friday.

This place is so awesome! My kids all had a blast, it was so enjoyable to see them using their imaginations with the foam blocks. There was a ton of space. Next time we are definitely going to spend more time. I also enjoyed there was multiple places for people to sit and relax. Probably my favorite part of the whole thing was the fake grass, that is so much better than wood mulch that you usually see in playgrounds.
