This is an OLD school, built in 1915, that has been restored and turned into community arts center. The architecture is fascinating. It is home to two permanent exhibits, one celebrating the railroad history of the city of Cleburne with two HO gage railroad setups, and a museum of wood carving. They also have rooms for temporary exhibits. When we were there one room had an exhibit for miniature art, paintings less than 4" by 5". Quite nice and well executed. The other display room contained the Johnson County Quilt Guild Quilt Show, the reason for our visit. There were a couple dozen really nice quilts, a few made by friends of my wife.
