Lorain Furniture and Appliance — Attraction in Cleveland

I watched a Lorain Furniture YouTube channel video on how to replace the drain pump on my Samsung washing machine and found it really helpful. In the video, they suggested buying the drain pump directly from Lorain, saying that the pump they're selling is better quality than the others available online. I believed them and went ahead and purchased the pump even though it was about three times more expensive than others online. When the pump arrived, I installed it and put the machine back in service. In the middle of the third load of laundry, the impeller on the new pump broke off the motor shaft. I went online and bought one of the less expensive pumps because I needed this machine in service and didn't need to wait five days for a replacement from Lorain. That pump arrived in a day and I installed it. That was a month ago and it's still functioning. After I removed the Lorain pump and took pictures of it, I called Lorain to see if they would stand behind their product. It was easy to reach a person on the phone at Lorain and he was very helpful. I’m having trouble getting this review written and posted so I hope this time it works: my old, fantastic Maytag bit the dust, I researched machines for my current needs, listened to friend and family recommendations, read reviews online, then cried over my inability to believe anything one way or the other. THEN I found Eugene’s YouTube reviews and immediately understood that he knew what he was talking about! I still couldn’t decide, so I paid a fee to make an appointment to speak with Eugene. Best money I ever spent! I live in CT, Lorain Furniture and Appliance is in Ohio but I could not have been more thrilled with the talk we had! After listening to my requirements, Eugene recommended the Maytag Commercial MWVP575GW, the one I actually had settled on in my mind because it seemed closest to my old, beloved machine. Couldn’t get it delivered from Ohio, unfortunately, but found one here. Just got it two days ago and it’s absolutely exactly what I was hoping for. Trust Eugene. Trust him every time. Phone consultation with Eugene is invaluable! Worth every cent!! I love front loaders but was VERY disappointed w/performance of 2nd set which was newly purchased-clothes/blankets still came out smelly. Maytag Commercial MVWP575GW washer (& Maytag Commercial MEDP575GW dryer), it IS!!! For me, the Maytag has less cubic feet than desired but will HUGELY make up for it in terms of washing time-will wash longest cycle in 35-37 minutes (!) which is a far cry from all the front loads which rely on time rather than water to get laundry clean. 2 HOURS & 20 min (!) for a load of clothes (or a twin flatsy comforter) set to heavy cycle in order to get a tad more H20 w/LG 3500CW, ugh. Hopefully, this industry will get deregulated...It. Is. Ludicrous.
