Update: In response to the management reply, you are quite literally lying. I know the website to check for certifications and I researched the trainers names. Only 4 of your trainers are certified. Please stop lying, it won’t get you anywhere. That past employee you are speaking about has nothing to do with the truth at hand.
The gym really is the cleanest I’ve ever been to. Why did I give it 2 stars? First off, the manager or whatever he claims to be, has zero professionalism and has no idea what he is talking about. I’ve seen him literally twerking at the front desk and using the intercom to speak with his employees. I ask for customer support email and I never get a reply, when I do, it honestly seems like an automated response to my concerns. Some of the personal trainers are constantly on their phones and never actually pay attention to their clients. I have also seen them eating while training their clients. I understand you get hungry, you’re human, but try to maybe manage your time better. When they do pay attention, they seem to just gossip with their clients instead of training them. Get off your phone and off instagram and maybe your clients might see some results. I understand the need for classes and the HIIT zone is smack dab in the middle of the gym, but the volume does not have to be loud if you have a microphone. Clearly that is what it is used for, so you don’t have to scream. I assume the fitness instructors name is Gibby, because that is what the manager yells over the intercom. She is one of the instructors who scream into the microphone. Those classes seem incredibly chaotic and useless. I’ve heard horror stories about personal training as well. I asked a friend during one of my group fitness classes about personal training since she participates in it, and I was told her trainer isn’t certified but she’s ok with that. Then she goes on to tell me most of them aren’t certified and the training manager isn’t certified either. How does that even happen? Aren’t they supposed to be certified? This is a complete mess and a lawsuit will happen instantly! This is a liability! I have heard it is also very hard to cancel due to the fact that the personal training manager is very combative to cancel someone. I get it, you need to fill your quota for the month, but do it properly, don’t steal from people. Other than the cleanliness, it’s not a good gym because I feel as though I’m in middle school. I have since canceled my membership and now I attend the Midland Park location, it’s great and it’s...
Read moreI LOVE this Crunch location. I signed up during the lockdown for a special they were running and was able to try personal training when the gym was still closed to the public. The one on one sessions were great and when the gym finally opened to everyone things only got better. For starters, this is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to & I frequently like to try out new gyms. I haven’t yet found any spot that even comes close to how clean and well maintained Crunch Clifton is. Second, the staff is outstanding. They all work diligently to ensure that the member experience is positive and enjoyable for everyone. They’re friendly when I come in, attentive if I have questions and always seem to be happy to be there. Aaron, the manager, is especially wonderful as he is always asking how I’m doing, how my training sessions are going, inviting people to try classes and seeing if there’s anything he can do to make the Crunch experience better. He gets involved in the HIIT classes and is friendly with several, probably most, of the members at Crunch Clifton. He is transparent about membership charges and always try’s to help people as best he can if there is a problem. Managing the place can’t be easy, but Aaron truly puts his all into his job. You can just tell he cares about what he does. More specific to me, I’ve found value in continuing personal training sessions with Heather. She is amazing at what she does, always pushing me further than I thought I could go while maintaining a kindness that allows me to feel comfortable in my discomfort. She’s motivating and organized and really tailors workouts to maximize the amount of time we have and focus on anything specific that I verbalize I’d like to improve. Results come slow, but I’ve seen them already and much of the credit goes to Heather. Lastly, the variety of classes and amenities that Crunch Clifton offers are several. It is WELL worth it to go for the higher tiered membership with them because the class offerings are outstanding and the amenities are the cherry on top. I made it a point to try as many different classes as I could when I first started and I found that they vary in style and skill level required, meaning that there’s something for everyone. And after a sweat drenched HIIT class or a relaxing yoga class, I love that I can wind down in the Wellness Dry Pod or work on sore muscles on the Hydro Massage. Crunch Clifton truly offers a significantly high value to your health and fitness journey. To anyone considering joining, I sincerely believe it’ll...
Read moreI recently had an issue with the schedule changes at the gym for the month of August, but I must say that Julius went above and beyond to resolve it. His exceptional customer service skills and willingness to listen to my feedback made all the difference.
Julius was incredibly engaged and attentive, and he took the time to understand my concerns and come up with a solution that worked for me. He was able to de-escalate the problem I was having with the new schedule and ensure that there was a solution on the way.

Thank you, Julius, for your outstanding assistance and for making my experience at the gym a positive one. Let’s just hope the schedule is changed for the better.
As for the gym, I cannot say enough good things about Crunch Fitness! This gym is not only clean and well-maintained, but the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every member has a positive experience. The machines are usually fixed within the week if there are any issues. Everyone who works here is always smiling and ready to help with anything you may need. It's clear that they genuinely care about the well-being of their members.
While the gym does get busy during peak hours, this is to be expected and it's a testament to how popular and well-loved Crunch Fitness is. Despite the crowds, the staff does a fantastic job of keeping everything running smoothly.
And let's talk about the classes - Liz's and Gibbs' classes are absolute highlights of my week! Their energy, enthusiasm, and expertise make every session enjoyable and effective. I always look forward to attending their classes and they never disappoint.
Overall, Crunch Fitness is a fantastic gym with a great team, excellent facilities, and amazing classes. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive and motivating...
