This is a cute restaurant. It’s small but the decor is nice and the seating is comfortable. We arrived on a Sunday. There was a brunch special and a DJ. We ordered meatballs which were home made and tasted great. We also ordered chimi empanadas. They were okay. I had sliders that were delicious with crispy fresh French fries. My daughter had the breakfast pizza- she was not a fan. My husband ordered the chimi pizza (which he had ordered to go previously). This time the crust was burnt and honestly it tasted weird. The worst thing about our experience was the terrible service. Expect to wait especially for your check. We felt neglected. By the time we were done eating we just wanted to get out of there because we were waiting for our check forevveerrrr. When we finally did get our check we were abruptly handed a machine to pay on with no words otherwise. We won’t go back as we felt the service was not good and the food was sub par. The fold is expensive for such careless service( we spent over $100) Maybe we went on a bad day but we will skip this place...
Read moreI’ve been going to this location for the longest. I travel from Queens NY all the time. The owner is nice. The pizza is great. I usually order several go take with me and bring them to friends of mine for a surprise. My problem with the people that answer the phone when I place an order. They made me drive all the way there once telling me they are open until 9 PM. Well I get there at 8PM and guess what? They are closed and I see the guys moping the floor and not one would even make eye contact with me while I’m knocking and standing at the door to get my pizzas. It appears someone is closing early! I wonder if the owner knows? Idk. Pizza is great not worth driving over 2 bridges paying a toll only to be closed. Owner is a great guy. His workers answering the phone for orders and such are idiots. To the guys moping that night and ignoring me thanks ! You made them loose my business and I hope you enjoyed...
Read moreI recently visited Wahizza Pizza with my better half for our pizza night, and we were blown away by the experience! Not only were the pizzas delicious, but the chicken wings were also a delightful surprise. They were perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. The staff was incredibly accommodating, providing us with a variety of dipping sauces that added an extra layer of fun to our meal.
We decided to try the Chimi Pizza, and it transported us back to the flavors of the Dominican Republic. The combination of ingredients was spot on, and every bite was bursting with flavor. We definitely will be returning as we can’t resist the temptation of trying the oxtail pie, which caught our eye on the menu and I know it won’t disappoint.
Overall, our experience at Wahizza Pizza was outstanding, and we'll definitely be back for more. Five...
