Hot Bagels Abroad — Restaurant in Clifton

I am a Clifton Native and been here a lot over the years. I don’t know what happened, but they’re not a well functioning bagel spot. I called in advance to place my order by phone. I ordered 3 items. I came 30 mins later to pick it up to give them time- I know it’s busy on Sundays, fair enough. I get there and the man at the counter tells me it’s not ready. I saw an order that looked like mine on the counter next to the other cashier so I figured I’d give them time to bag it up. Nope, the cashier took my order to the back for some reason. I waited a good 15 mins and asked about my order again. The cashier looked frantic and asked me what my order even was.???? The other cashier stated she took it to the back since no one asked for it. Makes no sense. Waited over 40 mins AND THEY GOT MY ORDER WRONG. No sausage on my sausage egg and cheese bagel. All the food was cold. This is also not the first time that this has happened. They’re always losing orders. This place needs a better plan as far as how to receive orders and give them out. You’ve officially lost a long time customer. I’d rather drive to another town...

Very disappointed.i love their food and service, but after the experience that I had today...i wont ever order or walk in there. I placed an order for delivery for me,my wife,and my kids.i placed the order at 8:10am and I called at 8:50am to check the status of the order.i was told that my order is out for delivery and i should have it any second.than I called again at 8:58am to see what happened with having that order delivered any second!I was told that my order is still there and never went out for delivery....i was like okay is Saturday they are busy so I gave them some time.than I called again at 9:20 still didn't left the store,at 9:48am I get a call from the delivery guy stating that he is in his way after an hour and a half.i am literally 3min away from your bagel store, anyway at this point we already were in our way to IHOP... food is great there but delivery SUCKS.If u can't handle it don't advertise that u deliver and have whole family counting on u guys...thats...

My bagel was covered in: GIANT CLUMPS OF COOKED ON HAIR. the entire half of the bagel too. ill post a photo but its on my husbands phone and i cannot stomach the sight of it right now ill literally be sick. did i mention this was my first meal after two days of fighting nausea? i was so excited to finally eat. now i cant even think of food hence lack of photo but ill post if needed i just cant fathom seeing it right now ill throw up. sensitive stomach. So the girl had me standing waiting for a manager for quite a few min. Then another employee asks if i need help, when i said im waiting for the manager, she said he isnt there. Ummm Girl #1 why did you have me waiting like a moron?! What even? The second girl was very nice ill give that compliment atleast. That was the most horrific experience with a food place ive EVER had, i am beyond nauseous,...
