WHAT A JOKE! My husband and I went to this store on Saturday Sept 14th, 2013 with our young daughter to buy their Ashley Signature Brand "Cimeran" Dining table and 4 chairs (Item # D-295). We were dealing with a guy named Emad Machovic or something close to that. The set was selling for $399 and we kindly asked him if he could do any better on the price if we paid cash for it right then and there, he told us to hold on and he would check, he came back within a few minutes with a printed up piece of paper agreeing to give it to us for $339 (a $60 savings). We told him we really appreciated it and were ready to buy it and take it home (it was the last one they had in stock there). He says "Great" and takes us to his desk to complete the sale. After spending an odd 10 minutes or more at his desk while he claimed to be putting in our name and information into the computer system, he finally gives us the total with tax and we were shocked. He was going to charge us the full $399 plus tax not the $339 plus tax he quoted us before. We looked at him with confusion and said "Um, you told us $339" and this guy has the nerve to DENY it, even after I pulled the Furniture Source paper out of purse that had his NAME & the $339 price quote on it! His excuse "Oh, I'm sorry, there must have been some mistake". REALLY? A mistake with the paper in my hand that YOU Printed up for us? I was so upset that this guy would be playing games with us like this, that I didn't even try to argue, I just took my husband and daughter out of there and left for Homemakers. They were able to special order the exact same dining table & 4 chairs from their Ashley catalog for their original, standard, non-discounted price of $339!!! **I will never do business with Furniture Source again, these people just play games and are extremely unprofessional. Buyers beware. If they do this stuff BEFORE you buy, I can't imagine what happens after you buy! I still can't understand why they did what they did to us, they didn't even try to stop us walking out the door or anything. It's like they could careless about our business or having us as customers. Very, Very bizarre. The one thing my husband and I realize is this place really makes it money off of customers who finance their purchases. They either figured that we would be desperate and come back and pay full price OR they didn't care because they knew they were not making much money off of us in the end anyways. I was searching for a kitchen table for a new house that the wife and I purchased. We shopped at a couple of different places but didn't find anything that we really liked.

I stopped here and looked around. I did find a table that both the wife and I could agree on and the price was okay (though after searching for almost a month I just wanted a fracking table).

The staff did kinda greet me when I came in. I told them that I was just browsing for a table and I was left to look around. After sending some video to the wife that was home with the toddler we agreed on a table and I simply paid cash for it to be delivered. It seems that this store is accustom to customers setting up payment plans for purchases. Perhaps that's why the staff isn't as professional as a other furniture stores. But again, I just wanted a table, the price was agreeable (about $500 if I remember correctly) and I wanted it delivered and setup in a reasonable amount of time.

All three requirements were met and that's all I really care about.

They have amazing deals and great quality items. The delivery drivers were very kind although they told me they could not fit my couch up my apartments staircase, after fitting it through the door they put it back in their truck and redelivered it as a drop and go later on the same day, they caught the legs falling off and repaired it, but after telling us it would not fit. My boyfriend was able to get it up 3 flights of stairs on his own and into our apartment with minimal assistance from me. They were very kind but more of an effort would have been greatly appreciated, I had even told myself that if they brought it up the stairs I would have given them a tip, other than that my experience was great and that was the only issue I had with...
