Read moreOur growing family was really looking forward to this years rodeo after not being able to go last year due to COVID!
Upon arrival to the venue we were approached by two different security guards letting us know we would not be able to bring in our stroller for our 5 month old son! We were blind sided by this statement and discussed getting our money back and going home! After discussion with my wife and 9 year old daughters we decided we paid the money we paid 110 bucks to get in and went through the whole outfits to wear for this rodeo.
We were immediately ushered to where we may leave our stroller as soon as we got our ticket scanned and entered this venue. We then asked well sir where are we supposed to change our baby if we need to! Of course that was not an option and is REQUIRED BY CA LAW TO HAVE A BABY CHANGING STATION!
Our stroller is a all in one that folds flat to change our son as needed and with nowhere available to change our son I had had enough of the holding our son and my wife holding our son In the heat! Thankfully we seemed shade to cool our son down after I went back to the front and grabbed my sons stroller anyhow knowing it was not ALLOWED 🚫! We had multiple conversations with other parents as well and even a single mother carrying her child in a car seat to this event! We are appalled by the negligence of this Clovis rodeo and will be seeking further legal actions to the newspaper, and 47 on your side news! I wish we did not have to do that but it is the right thing to do for so many other parent’s and single parents out there that did not...

Not much to do or see if you're not into ranching, riding horses, teasing bulls for fun, listening to country music, or drinking beer to get drunk for no good reason in a broad day light.
We went to support a great cause (wearing pink!) but the venue seemed to have lost the idea in attempt to highlight its sponsor/advertiser Coors and other happy hour drinking stocks suppliers. A timidly staged country music band trying to cover some familiar tunes was cutting it; no one seemed to care or stopped to look at them playing live.
The venue can use some better management, upgraded benches, and paved parking lots without all that dirt laced in with scattered...
