Rm 219. First day: The morning receptionist greeted us as we approached the counter and checked us in with a smile and provided us with info such as pool, elevator and breakfast time. Elevator: very slooooooow. Ice machine: nice soft ice. Pool: looked clean, but didn't use it as we're busy with family all day. Breakfast: N/A, no time as we had plans. Returning at the end of the day (around 10pm-12midnight): Night staff/receptionist didn't greet us as we walked in. There were several different people working the entire 4 days we stayed but no one greeted us. They simply glanced at us and continue to look at their phones. Room: Clean, towels were replaced daily. No bed bugs in this room. Housekeeper: The 4 days that we stayed there, I saw two ladies. One of them heavier set, brown hair, very quiet and made no eye contact as we walked pass. Second lady, blonde hair, older woman, full face makeup and nails done (pink). *Warning* Ladies, do not leave your makeup and makeup brushes laying around because the older housekeeper with a full face makeup will touch your stuff. My mistake for leaving my makeup on the counter because we were running late to meet up with family (7am and we were out the door). When my husband and I returned at 2:30 am, I noticed that my Fenty Highlighter was slightly opened and didn't close. (I'm very OCD when it comes to how I place my brushes and leave my makeup.) As I opened the top I noticed that the little part that holds the makeup close is broken!!! On top of that, I brought a small sample perfume with me on the trip because obviously it has to be under 1oz and I also noticed that someone opened the bottom part and left a nail polish scratch on the cover. The following morning, we checked out of our hotel and I made it known that someone touched my stuff. The receptionist guy said "sorry about that" and nothing more. ***PLEASE! educate and re-train your staff. Regardless if your guest leaves their personal items all over the room, do not go through them and break them!*** This will be my first and last time with Best Western Clovis.

The staff here, across-the-board, portrayed the best attitude I've seen in years at any hotel. They were friendly and genuinely helpful. The room was spotless and clean. The hot tub worked well as did all other amenities. Breakfast included cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, country biscuits and gravy, waffles, and yogert as well as a large assortment of Breakfast cereal. Drinks included apple, orange, and cranberry juice. Coffee, hot chocolate, and milk were also available. Prime location: It is the closest major hotel to old downtown Clovis. It was a 2-minute walk to the Friday farmers market. We had a great time enjoying local activities without having to get into a vehicle. If you do desire to visit a major mall, box stores, or familiar chain restaurants, they are within a 5-minute drive. Wifi: WiFi connected easily. I was able to use it for work, including Zoom meetings while also using other online software. YouTube worked well on HD.

On 02/05/20, I stayed in the Best Western, Clovis. I had been stuck in the elevator for almost one hour. The elevator was expired for inspection. I called the 911 and the fire department came and save me out. During the time, no one talked to me outside and I could only call 911. The maintenance staff didn’t show up after I got out. Recently, I received a bill from the American ambulance. I talked to the hotel manager Carol Griggs Lee about the bill, she said I should solved the problem myself and they didn’t call the ambulance so that it was not their responsibility to help me pay the bill or solve the problem. I spent one hour during my work time there only got such an answer. I got stuck in the elevator because the hotel didn’t inspect the elevator according to the law. At last, I should pay the ambulance fee as a customer stuck inside and couldn’t go to work? Ridiculous! It is the true experience I had. Such a “Good hotel and Manager!”

This has been the most terrible experience I have ever had staying here. If I could give no stars I would. The only time the manager was on site was at breakfast time and she was so rude. The first night a group of kids were partying above us. We tried to resolve it and after multiple complaints the desk boy, Raul, said he would call the cops. There was never a manager on site to deal with the issue. The noise still went on. We were told we could not switch rooms but we would be given a discount. When we returned back to our room the next evening our room was not clean. All we needed was beds made (not new linens) and fresh towels. When I called to discuss the issue, not a big deal turned into a big deal. He said the room was cleaned. Also, again the manager was not on site. After this I was aggravated and asked him if he had called the cops and he said no, he had only told me that to get me to stop calling. He said if it was so loud don't you think other ppl would have complained? So, basically I got called a liar. He then told me he was not authorized to give us the previously mentioned discount! I asked multiple times to speak with a manager other than Raul, but she was never around. The morning at breakfast when I went to ask if the kids above us would be checking out she didn't greet me or say how can I help u, she just stared at me like I was dumb and she had no clue what I was referring to. Luckily a lady who worked at the hotel (not at the desk) came around and backed up my story bc she had had problems with them on her previous shift. At this point I just wanted the last day of my vacation to be peaceful but they would not let me change my reservation. My only option was to stay in a different room. This has been the worst hotel with the worst hospitality I have ever seen. The rooms are just the same as every other hotel around so, spend your money where people actually care about their customers. Two nights previously I stayed at a motel 6 and it was 100% better than Best Western...

NASTIEST PLACE THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I personally travel quite alot, been to many different types of hotel in different parts of the world, from 3 stars to 5, ive seen ALL types of hotels. BUT THIS ONE IN PARTICULAR WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. We came here cause we had to travel here all the way from the south bay to compete in a huge cross country meet, Clovis Invitational. Room 208 we had been real tired from the four hour drive, and had not noticed all the foul properties that it fully had. So we slept at 10 ready for a big day the next day. when i wake up my friends on the other bed start waking me up @ 4 in the morning to tell me how distusting their bed was. there WAS DRIED BLOOD STAINS, BED BUGS EVERYWHERE, AND THERE WAS SQUISHED BEDBUG STAIN ON THE BED AS WELL. I ALMOST THREW UP!!! things were not looking so good at this point. and the receptionist did very little to help because the manager wasn't there. The management didnt even help us out. gave us a very small amount of discount for the room to compensate. AND THATS ALL?!!? what about the cost of my trip to the doctor?? and my unplesant itch of bed bugs, and all the clothing that i had to throw out??? bags i threw out as well??? and the "ptsd" that followed??? WHOS GONNA PAY FOR ALL THAT? HUH!?!? unless you guys treat us CORRECTLY AND PROPERLY!!! this is going on to every review page i can possibly find to put you guys down!! WARNINGWHAT IM ABOUT TO SHOW WILL MAKE YOU THINK DIFFERENTLY ABOUT HOTELS FOREVER!!!! NOT COOL BEST...
