Clovis Library — Attraction in Clovis

This library is EXTREMELY NOISY. I went there a few times a week to study for nursing exams due to the close proximity from my house, I almost could not assimilate anything. There were times when my study group and I either had to deal with the noise or leave. Libraries should be quiet because you never know what other people are preparing for. The librarians and employees do absolutely nothing to control the noise. I HATE IT HERE!!! Everyone in my school knows this is to be a NO GO STUDY AREA unless you’re studying to fail, like they say. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT HERE AGAIN. When I say noisy I mean like you’re at a football game. It’s such a shame this is called a library because it’s not. It’s just an event center with books. You can even have your baby shower here if you wanted. If you’re in labor and the hospital is too far just come here and have your baby, I’m sure the employees will help you since they’re deaf to noise. If you’re having a funeral, both your family and the corpse would have a wonderful time holding it in this library. I mean no disrespect to the employees because they all seem really sweet but of what use is that if you can’t control...

I'd give it ZERO stars if I could. I understand that they allow the middle school students to come in after school, but the fact that they allow them to SCREAM at each other across the library is not only disrespectful to the other people, but honestly it's quite embarrassing for the city of Clovis to allow such a thing to take place. I was seated in a corner quietly studying when several teenagers came in, sat directly across the table from me, and started SCREAMING at others across the room. Then they started tossing things across the table and shoving the table back and forth. I'm HIGHLY disappointed in the Clovis library and its staff. This isn't a playground and shouldn't be treated as such. Do better Clovis this is embarrassing!!!!! I will never come back and I will be discouraging everyone...
