United States Forest Service - Sierra National Forest — Attraction in Clovis

How are they, a government entity open so late and closes so early. Us people who work 8 to 5 jobs have no chance of getting anything from them. The phone number listed, no one can reach them. They won't pick up the phone. I give them an F for their service. All I wanted was a foraging permit when I took a day off of my working day to go to this office. They could not give it to me because they say their computer systems were down. They have no other way of giving it to me. In the past, they used to physically write up everything the old fashion way.

Their automatic door locks itself early for lunch???

This government agency is a fine example of government poorly performing a low expectation job, and a shining example of it too. Your tax payer money feeding fat government. Most government entity opens at 8 and closes at 5pm. Why do they get to decide their hours with tax payer money?
