Excellent park to walk, run, bring kids and pets! The open field is perfect for sunbathing, sports, and having picnics. Pavilions are great for gatherings but must reserve them ahead of time with City of College Park. Best time to go are early mornings and late afternoons after school let's out and weekends. Other times park can get pretty empty but it's usually someone at least walking down the street or people working in neighboring yards. Sometimes City of College Park workers are there during daytime. Very few times there have been questionable patrons at the park...

Honestly I have no problems with the park itself, it's just the other people that go there sometimes. Usually I leave that park feeling uncomfortable and/or unsafe. The benches are spaced well enough apart. The picnic area is good. The walking tract is a bit crowded at times with ball players careless you might say at throwing or kicking the ball in the way of walkers.
