J.R. Crickets on Main St — Restaurant in College Park

I often frequent J.r Crickets. The food is pretty good and it's a nice place to have drinks. I'm changing my rating to a 1 star. I love this place so much that I decided to have lunch with my family today. There was a total of 9 of us. Our server was Lashay. Lashay did not greet us when we came in however she did look very annoyed and angry by our presence. We ordered a 100pcs wing in which I just noticed on the bill she charged us for a 70pc, a 20pcs and a 10pc. Which is more expensive than just charging us for a 70pcs and a 30pcs. I wanted to order another lemon drop martini in which I thought she was going to give to me but it never came, just the bill. I asked for a to go water and a Togo fruit punch soda for my nephew, she stormed off while I was talking to her to never return. Now for a fee of 25.60 worth of gratuity that she received she should have been more than happy to help us with a Togo cup of water and a fruit punch soda. But she moved on to other people. I didnt mind the gratuity I just didnt think she earned it with the lack of good customer service. She was also rude to my mother. I will give this place one more chance because of the food and the owner being a nice person. However, Lashay can never be my server ever again! And if she's the only sever for that day, then I'll take my money else where. No one should be subjected to that much rudeness! I raved about this place, and that's why we chose to eat here today. Lashay was the conversation of the night once we all met up at my mother's house. We all agreed that the food was good, however they would like to go to a different Jr crickets next time. I however will continue to patronize this J.r crickets but Lashay can never be my server ever again! Work on your customer service before it scares...

Don’t even think about patronizing this establishment IF you are expecting good customer service. NEVER AGAIN will I let my tires roll across the asphalt in their parking lot. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even get the opportunity to place an order. I walked up to the bar, advised the girl (wearing the baseball cap and the rubber band infused ponytail) that I had never eaten there. She showed NO concern as she just continued with her beer order. She did answer my question about one of the flavors with absolutely no eye contact. Suddenly three women walked up to the bar. The waitress asked if they knew what they wanted and she began taking their orders. At this point I’m flabbergasted. YES, I said flabbergasted!!!! After taking all three orders and answering their questions, she then makes her way down to me, looks at me and asked what did I want. Totally pissed I tell her that’s ok because I didn’t want to express my irritation to her with a crowd around. At this point I’m on the brink of not wanting anything. So while I'm standing up there typing this post, another waitress walks up and begins taking the order of another person who had just approached the bar. I’m in total disbelief. WOW!!!!!!!!!!! That's it! I'm done. So I ask am I standing in the wrong spot to place an order. The waitress responded that she thought I had already ordered. Sad but true!!! I will never solicit this business again. Maybe the treatment towards me was because I’m not a “regular”. TIP: Be kind to ALL patrons. You never know who is coming to patronize your establishment. Nor do you know how much money they may be willing to spend. But that’s fine, I just drove on over to Chik-Fil-A where I received exceptional customer service. People we’ve got to...

I had the worst hot wings I have ever had at this place! We ordered a 10 piece takeout for $15 and I have never felt more robbed! The wings tasted burnt and they were of really poor quality. They were small, dry, hard, and drowning in this awful buffalo teriyaki sauce! It looked and tasted like motor oil. The only positive was the bartender/cashier who was polite but the restaurant itself was dark and dank! It smelled like mildew and despair! I will never order from here again nor would I ever recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. To add insult to injury, there were two woman outside panhandling! They asked me for money and argued about who I should give it to!! Horrible place. I’m truly surprised that they are still open. If I could give them a -1 star I would. Proceed with caution.

The following is in response to the Owner: *By definition, slander would imply that my review was false. It was completely accurate. I clearly stated that I had takeout which means I trusted your establishment to produce what I ordered to the standard that I had become accustomed to from frequenting the Riverdale location. I picked up my order and left. I only discovered how poorly a decision I had made once I sat down to eat them. We threw them away. I didn’t owe you an opportunity to waste anymore of my time by returning to be hassled by your “door greeters” nor to be assaulted by the “aroma” you call ambiance. The seediness was off putting and I will pass on a return visit. Furthermore, reviews are meant to be an opportunity for discussion and improvement within the confines of your business. Attacking your patrons only serves to further illustrate the lack of business acumen and misplaced focus you already have. Best of...
