Collierville’s town square is a great place to visit regularly. They have concerts throughout the summer, fair on the square in May, various events during all the seasons. Great place for photos in Spring, Summer, Fall and Christmas.
The square has a gazebo in the center and everything centers around that. The train literally passes by the square and you can watch it. Has an old train engine that you can climb up and look at the engineers work area. A caboose that you can climb up on and check out. Most kids are crazy about this.
Lots of shops and restaurants around the square. My favorites are Lost Pizza and Mensi’s Dairy Bar.
Also right up the street is Morton’s Museum. It is fun to tour as well.
We usually hit Lost Pizza and then a walk through the square and wrap up with hitting a few shops. Also enjoy going in the Army Surplus Store.
Not sure what to call it, but there are to columns for cyclists. First is a pump to inflate your tires. Second is tools to repair your bike. Tools are secured to prevent theft. Picture of them is part...
Read moreMy mother and I happened along this place years ago when my kid was playing in a basketball tournament in Memphis! I don't even remember how we ended up here but enjoyed every minute of it! I took my hubby by there on a road trip from Oklahoma to Cape Cod since we stayed overnight in Germantown and we were so close by! It was as beautiful and cute as I remembered. There is a passenger rail car that you can tour, old travel stop log cabin from back in the day, a WORKING old school gas station (oh my heart), cute eateries, boutiques, coffee shops, home decor places, historic monuments, families with children just running around the Square. I would totally be there alot if I...

Grab a delicious fried burger from Dyer’s, check out the cool gifts inside social, try a energy smoothie at the sip squared, check out all of the seasonings and cooking paraphernalia at Bazaar, try the blackberry cobbler at the silver caboose, and get ready for the opening of Maeve’s Tavern, the Irish pub coming into the...
