Please do NOT waste your money! My friend and I were recommended Cafe Piazza by a fellow coworker to try on an outing to see the Christmas lights in Collierville town Square. Upon arrival we were told that it would be about a 45 minuet wait and they would call us. About am hour into our wait outside we met a lovely group of 6 people who wanted to know if there was a wait. I told them about our wait and followed them into the restaurant to inquire about ours. They were seated promptly. We waited another 5 minuets when we were seated at a table that had not been occupied our first time in the restaurant. The host was less than polite and didn't smile once our entire visit there. However our waitress was very pleasant. We ordered an appetizer of pimento cheese, entre of lobster ravioli, and the salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The pimento cheese was not editable or at least not to our taste. It had an over whelping taste of rose water, which I found extremely odd. The bread was very stale. My friend stated that her lobster ravioli was good, even though an extremely small portion. I received the salmon and asparagus but the mash potatoes were forgotten at first. The salmon and vegetables were amazing and flavorful, cooked perfectly. The asparagus was still cold and raw, then drowned in oil. Once the mash potatoes arrived I realized that I was better off without them in the beginning, how do you mess up mash potatoes? Apparently they found a way how. I ate the salmon and tomatoes and left the rest on the table. I ended up spending $63 for a meal that was partially not editable. I truly wish I could report differently because the building and environment was quiet nice and set on a beautiful town square. I will not be returning here nor be recommending it to any of my clients.

My husband made a reservation here for our 24th anniversary. We arrived about 30 minutes early which posed a little staff confusion but we were accommodated. Once seated for an intimate anniversary dinner a large party was placed next to us with several young children. I requested to be moved and we were pleasantly accommodated again. I have wanted to try Cafe Piazza for quite a while and am happy to say it did not disappoint. I ordered the salmon, mashed potatoes, caesar salad; our appetizer was the toasted ravioli and my husband ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli with alfredo sauce. My dinner was tasty and without complaint-salmon was tender, not dry, mashed potatoes were tasty and smooth. I did not get asparagus as I do not care for it. My salad was crisp and with not too much dressing. The toasted ravioli appetizer was crisp, hot when served and the red sauce delicious. The wine selection for size restaurant was fair. The Cabernet Sauvignon was delicious and complementary to our meal. We were also provided with a celebration dessert on the house; the cannoli cream pastry was like what I had eaten in Italy and was delicious. The wait staff were professional, though at times a little soft spoken being a little difficult to hear. The restaurant was full, comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend to others to give it a try.

This was our second visit. The first time, we stopped in just for dessert and had the tiramisu. It was excellent, probably the best in town. The ladyfingers were soaked just right, not too soft, not too firm. This time, we came in for dinner. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip soon after being seated, but it took around 15 minutes to come out, which felt a bit long, especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy and the point of an appetizer is for it to be quick. The dip itself was tasty, though the bread it came with was slightly overcooked. We also ordered the lobster ravioli and the Bianca pizza. The ravioli was okay, but it came out lukewarm. My guess is it was sitting while the pizza finished cooking, since the pizza was hot. It also had unmelted cheese on top, which felt a bit odd. As for the pizza, I was really underwhelmed, it just didn’t have much flavor. We also waited quite a while for this to come out. Overall, the food took way longer than expected, especially considering there was only one other couple in the restaurant. That said, our server was friendly and attentive, and kept our waters filled. All in all, I’d definitely come back for dessert, the tiramisu alone is worth it. But I probably wouldn’t return for dinner.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, nothing was pleasant. This was the restaurant a friend and I chose for a fun Italian girls night; we had heard the food was good and were eager to try it. Unfortunately , we were seated in a tight area with tables all around us. I don't recommend going if you want to enjoy time with a friend. There are bugs flying around constantly- gross. When the waiter greeted us, I was hopeful that things would look up; however, instead, she was a bit snippy. I ordered a blue note and sprite and the drink came out flat. I ordered a strawberry mojito instead, and it was horrible and garnished with brown mint leaves. When the food came out it was COLD. My friend's pizza was burnt, and mine was under cooked. The waiter we had never came back to ask how the food was or if the new drink was okay. When it came to boxing up our food, she boxed my friend's pizza up at the table but took mine to the kitchen after it was already boxed- what was she doing at the point is my question? I'm a little afraid to eat the leftovers. We received our checks, paid, and tipped and on the way out, our waiter came running out of the restaurant chasing us telling us we should be embarrassed for our tips. So uncalled for and unprofessional. I will not be back to Cafe Piazza, and I will share my experience with others. This restaurant has gone down since a few years ago. This restaurant clearly doesn't value customers nor the quality of their food...
