Collierville Depot — Attraction in Collierville

There is a lot to see at this location. There are several historical displays inside the depot building as well as a well-informed and helpful staff person. Outside the building, there are several displays and historical information is posted along the walkways. The caboose, passenger car, and cab of the steam locomotive are all open to walk through. No charge to visit any of this. Plenty of free parking. The entire area is well maintained and clean, including the detached building with public restrooms. One cation - this is next to an active railroad line, so keep off the tracks and keep a close watch on...

Only saw the outside exhibits but it was nice. A retired air force gentleman gave a good talk on the steam...
