Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary — Attraction in Columbia

The paved trail is rad, and when we went the huge and amazing wildflower field was spectacular. There are unpaved grassy trails that are cool and hikey-ish, but some of the unpaved trails with signs are not up to date, end in people’s yards, and I followed one into some painful and overgrown thorn bushes. Beautiful public park with wide paved trails with mowed shoulders. Wildlife, birds, and natural plants are abundant. There must be 10 +/- deer that call this urban nature park home. There is also wooded dirt and wood chip paths for the more adventurous walkers. Pavilion and picnic tables, restroom, decent amount of parking, and kids play faux log area. We walked our dogs on the Scott Branch trail section, where they are allowed. Haven't thoroughly explored the entire nature area yet, but we enjoyed our stroll today.
