I have been dining her for a couple years and this store has always struggled to find people but what I experienced tonight truly was upsetting. Recently they gotten two new servers who are beyond Phenomenal Paris and Mishia they're above average to be quite frank don't know why they're at this store or why they're not in management they're kind and polite every time. I'm a regular I eat at this store frequently and to say tonight was disheartening was and understatement. When we arrived we pulled into the spaces on the other side of the Togo spaces I noticed the female manager outside Nicole on the phone talking. We paid it no mind and continued in as we were walking in a party was laving on the way out they exasperated that the " Service was Terrible" in my head I thought maybe they just had a bad experience or their food came late but walking in was chaos. It was very apparent the Paris and Mishia were overwhelmed they each had quite a few tables and a line at the door. No problem like I said we are regulars. They got us seated in a bout 10mins and as usual they informed us they're short staffed and someone will be right with us. Mishra sat us in the last booth in the bar area. I could see Mishia running food, taking drinks, same for Paris they're moving fast and accurate with smiles the whole time. They're always joking and laughing at one point I could tell they were completely in the weeds. After about 15 mins we realized that there was nobody in the front but Mishia and Paris no manager just them at that point we had been there for about 25 maybe 30 mins. Paris finally got to us got our order in and drinks. Still no manager then it dawned on us she was still outside this entire time. So we sat and waited at this point it was over 30 mins before the lady came back in still on the phone. I don't know what she said but it said Paris completely off. There was maybe 10 or 12people sitting at the bar and every table around the bar was seated from what I got from the exchange she wanted him to clean a table or a area. Now im not sure how dirty it was at said table or area but it couldn't have possibly been so bad that she expected him to stop everything he was currently doing to do this especially being that we have sat now 30 miss watching both servers running around waiting on these tables with a line at the door still. I believe she could have taken care of said problem herself so as to not disrupt the flow the servers rhythm. THEY WERE BUSY. The argument continued in the back for a few min I assume Paris came back i could tell he was flustered but he jumped right back into working she left in huff mumbling still holding her phone I might add. At no point did she assist a table or even offer to help them during this time. That's unacceptable, staffing is already hard to find and to find servers who can maintain order and keep moving is hard. My sister who was with me made a comment that this is why they're always doing to go orders only. A week ago we came to days and both days they had a sign saying they're short staffed if this is how the management behaves at rush hour you might as well close the entire store. Then we see who we thought was the GM taking tables and when we inquired why he wasn't stepping in we learned he stepped down form the position and is only taking table! We are mind blown is the company this disorganized that General mangers are stepping down? At this point they need to reset the entire management team. We hope this location stays open and something changes this is just truly unjust. Wishing Mishia and Paris all the success and prosperity in the rest of their life hope they stay on we were finally...
Read moreFirst off want to say this first our server was great. However there isnât anything else I have something positive to say. I order the triple threat or whatever it was called with half rack of ribs, shrimp and chicken fingers and added salad bar. First off most the veggies had been out so long they looked awful the cucumbers had set out so long they had a slimy film on them. Once my entree arrived you could tell the chicken fingers had microwaved the batter fell out the moment you touched them and the texture was as rubbery as a tire ( they all seemed unher cooked once you took a bite or maybe it was all the radiation from them microwaved so many times, then also was mushy and had been microwaved as I could also tell when the first bite was like warm at best and then the next bite was so hot it burnt my tongue and roof of my mouth, ribs and French fries were the same story. Then to get the bill and it was $80.00 that is the same price point of people eating at long horns or Texas Roadhouse but getting food that isnât even as good McDonalds. Is absolutely ridiculous. As someone with low immune system due to a transplant I didnât spend the rest of the night praying I wasnât going to end up with food poisoning. Luckily, just some nausea, but I was OK. We always talk about wanting to get a better class of restaurants and Services in the lower Richland area however, you all have not at all added any type of value to our community which hence to the empty parking lot. And why even your manager chooses to use that area as the smoking section as she and another employee was smoking right by the door as we walked into be seated They even opened the door for us while she still had the cigarette in her hand iâm not sure anyone actually reads these, but if you do read these and are in charge of that Ruby Tuesdays, I really would suggest taking a look at the community that youâre in and working with the community to create an atmosphere that is conducive to the community and could actually draw in more people In fact, in need of a nice family sit down restaurant, but not when the quality of the food isnât even at the standards of a McDonaldâs meal. At this point, Iâm still kicking myself, but I wasted $80 of money on that food to then just go home and be scared to death. I was gonna end up with...
Read more01-18-20 Update: Within 12 hours of posting my review and complaint through their website, Scott (Director of Operations) called me. He wanted to apologize and let me know my issues were being addressed. He represented his company well and has me willing to give them another try (but not this location).
01-17-20 This was not only the worst Ruby Tuesday I've ever been to, but my worst restaurant experience EVER.
First, they said they were under staffed and so we had to wait for a table to be cleaned. There were only 5 tables occupied and about 20 with finished meals, left uncleaned.
After about a 10 minute wait, we were seated in a booth with a light that flickered/strobed the whole time. It took another 10 minutes before anyone came and talked to us. The server finally stuck his head around the corner and asked what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order. We were, so he decided to then walk around to our table and introduce himself.
My wife got the salad bar and by the time she had gotten her plate we, did not have our water and she had to ask for silverware. The server went to the dirty table next to us and grabbed two unused rolled silverware and some extra napkins. Both the napkins around the silverware and the extra napkins were covered in food.
I ordered the Hickory Bourbon Bacon Sirloin. It arrived without the bacon. It was my birthday so I also ordered a chocolate tall cake. It came dry, without any caramel sauce and almost no chocolate sauce which was only lightly drizzled on the top, none on the brownie.
To top it off, my wife went to the bathroom, which she said was filthy, and when she came to sit back down sliced her leg open on one of two nails sticking out of the side of the bench.
At this point I had enough and asked to speak to the manager. I explained everything to Murray and showed him the cut on my wife's leg, now dripping with blood. He did apologize, got my wife some Band-Aids, and paid for our meal.
Unfortunately, not only are we never going back to this Ruby Tuesday, but we are never going to any other Ruby...
