Slim Chickens — Restaurant in South Carolina

Today marked the 4th time that I’ve eaten at this location since the day it opened and it’s been amazing every time! I was there on their opening day within the first 30 minutes of them being opened and was unaware that they weren’t accepting mobile orders but their app accepted my order. So, I pulled up and explained it to the employees and provided proof that my order was complete. Without hesitation, they made my food, brought it out and I went on about my day. The food was perfect and upon further examination, I realized that my meal was comped. I’m assuming it was due to their location not accepting mobile orders but it worked out for me in the end. I received my free Cayenne Ranch chicken sandwich, as well as the fries and tenders! So, I had to go back for dinner that same day 😂 They were insanely busy at night but I got my food, the chicken club sandwich, Oreo shake (amazing) and fries. Perfection! They also happened to accidentally make my order twice so I ended up with 2 orders but paid for one, haha. Went a 3rd time about 2 weeks later and ordered their tenders again but with a chocolate shake this time. The tenders were just great as the first time! But that chocolate shake….. it was the BEST fast food chocolate shake I’ve ever had. Went back today but ordered through app. Found out that you can have your chicken shaken in one of their house sauces. I immediately jumped on the Korean BBQ flavor for this and added fries and a chocolate shake. The chocolate shake is still amazing! The app informed me to be at the store by 12:45 (27 minutes from the time I placed the order) and upon arrival at 12:41, I walked directly to the pick-up area. Not even 1 minute goes by and my food is ready. Bagged, hot and fresh! The employees were very attentive to every customer that was ordering, waiting for food to be brought out or picking up their food like myself. Had to see what the hype was about so I ordered 36 dollars worth of food. Had the 6 wings combo with fries and a sprite, the chicken and waffles, and two cheese cake jars.

The wait time at the drive through was more than 20 minutes which added to my disappointment once I received the food.

The 6 wings combo(3.5 stars) , the wings were the best thing I had. The fries were cold and tasted old. The toast was also decent. The sprite tasted like seltzer water so apparently the machine ran out.

The chicken and waffles(1star), the waffle was cold and tasted old like it was made earlier in the day. The waffle had a very grainy texture. It wasn’t appeasing. The chicken tenders that came with it were humongous. Also overly seasoned.

Cheesecake(1star), the only options available were the pumpkin pie and pecan pie cheesecake. The jar was filled with mostly whipped cream. I barely tasted any cheesecake. It was a mess. I did not enjoy it at all.

I don’t believe their prices match the quality of food and service. Maybe it’d be different if you eat inside. I personally don’t need to...

My honest humble opinion, the food is great and isn't an issue at all.

One issue is the drive thru, if you go to the right lane then you will have to wait longer than the left lane people. 4 vehicles finished in the left lane before they even asked for my order.

It's chaos inside the kitchen and you can visually/verbally hear the employees complaining or confused. There have been multiple occasions where I have gotten the completely wrong order with many other customers in the same boat.

There seems to be a mismanagement issue in the kitchen, the working flow of things in the kitchen, and employees generally confused.

I have also had three separate instances in the store where they gave my order to someone else and they just left with it, and I had to explain to them that I haven't got my order and they looked confused.

For a store that primarily serves fried chicken, French fries and toast I'm surprised there isn't a heating rack for the food for a more organized process. If there is one then it's being...
