I recently started going to this library and I always head to the quiet study area to focus on my studies. However, an ongoing issue I've encountered is that sometime every week or so, they randomly kick people out, citing the need for a meeting or event in the room. It's frustrating because the quiet study is not the meeting room (which they do have), and it feels unfair to be asked to leave constantly. Having a consistent and peaceful study environment is crucial to me so I wish they would communicate such disruptions ahead of time so that I could plan accordingly or choose another library. Some individuals in the room also don't seem to realize that it's intended to be a quiet space. I've literally witnessed people having one-on-one meetings, using their phones loud without headphones, and even gossiping. While some of these activities may be done quietly, it still disrupts the peaceful atmosphere. I've only seen one staff member address these issues. Additionally, I've observed that the atmosphere can get a bit loud, especially in the afternoons when kids are out of school. It seems like a popular spot for them to hang out. I haven't interacted much with other aspects of the library to comment on them but it seems well from what I...
Read moreThe library staff and place is very nice .But I feel there is no law there .Specially the quite study room...ohhh..it should be either posted as a room for talk.People come and do a long phone conversation and when the librarian come they just keep calm. After school lots of students get into the quite room and are having fun singing and talking keep silent when the librarian come.Tutors teach their students and some people do business meetings there. I think as a solution the library should post very clearly and visibly that it is quite room and no phone no talk no group discussion .Someone has to follow up at least periodically what is happening there till everything is in line.An active mail and/or phone number to send complaints for immediate response when some one get disturbed is better posted in the quite room.A room for group discussion ,tutoring and private use is better arranged .Otherwise very very difficult to use the...
Read moreThe facility was very nice and clean! The staff was ok with the exception of one particular staff member, Alice! She seemed to be everywhere at once. Everytime I needed help trying to find something for my research, she was there. Alice even knew how to help me print from my phone to an e mail. I don't believe I had to ever hunt down anyone for help. There was another staff member who was also friendly...
