Deka Lash — Attraction in Columbus

I normally visit the Grandview location but because of scheduling issues I needed to book a visit here. Upon arrival, I was checked in fairly quickly but the tech never told me her name. She ask mine and just said “You can come on back”. Ok stranger, thanks. The tech had 0 conversation with me. I understand I’m not a regular here but you could have at least sparked up some kind of convo. On top of that it was a cold and rainy day outside and her freezing cold hands didn’t make the situation any better. Her fingers were like popsicles! At least at Grandview they offer blankets, here I froze the entire time. I was pinched at least 3 times and felt my eyes water and she said nothing. To top it all off, I was charged extra because they had just raised their prices that day. Huh??? I’m supposed to be part of their “membership program” and opted to tip $15 for my fill but was charged $25. What is the point of the membership if you are gonna charge me extra?!? I’m so over this company. My lashes look good but I’m sure I can get good lashes without being over charged and frozen after my visit. The membership program...

This was my first time booking with them and my appointment was originally scheduled for 12PM. This was a spontaneous appointment and I normally don’t do lashes but I thought I’d try this one since it’s next to my nail salon.

I got there at 11:55 just to check in, understandable if the tech is running behind but there was no communication of that. I waited 20 minutes (so till 12:17) before I said something about no one taking me back. They lady said the appointment was scheduled for 12:30 which was not the case then proceeded to say after I had to advocate about a “cancellation fee” that the appointment was rescheduled to 12:30. There was NO communication of this and the environment seemed very unprofessional. As a first time client this was very uncomfortable for me. I then told the lady I should not be charged a cancellation fee due to them rescheduling on their end without my permission. She then gets the manager (who doesn’t even come out) and said just waive the fee for this one time. Will not be going to...

I went to Deka Lash to get my lashes done for the first time. I was going on spring break and didn't want to worry about makeup every day, and this was a great solution. My appointment was set for 10 am and I got in immediately. I was made aware of the whole process while getting my lashes done. This process took about a hour and forty five minutes for hybrid lashes. They look fantastic, even now 2 weeks later. While some have fallen out, they still look great. Their pricing seems to fit in with other lash salons around Columbus, and for first time customers, they're pretty affordable. It seems like in order to keep getting lower prices, you have to get a membership. I considered it, but I only have the budget to either get my lashes or nails done, and I picked nails lol.
