Terrible customer service at the Broad Street Branch strictly by the General Manager. My mom placed and paid for a large order of donuts 4 days ago for an event that she always is excited to be part of "Trick or Treat for Food". She is responsible for donut holes and cider for the trick or treaters; and she also ordered a few holiday decorated glazed donuts for the helpers. Well, my dad went to the E. Broad store to pick up the order and to his surprise, they were "sold out". He showed the manager the confirmation email and told her that she had already paid for the order. The manager responded, "Well, we are sold out, you should have called and confirmed". And her solution was to refund the money, instead of giving us a better solution for our event in 5 hours. I called and asked for a better solution, such as calling other Krispy Kreme locations near by to see if they can help fulfill the order, or help us find alternatives. She told me "I have better things to do than to listen to you cry over donut holes. Call corporate." Seriously..... very nice.... now we are scrambling to fill our commitment for my moms event and to make sure these trick or treaters are not without their beloved and highly anticipated donut holes. This has put a very sour taste of Krispy Kreme donuts in our mouths. Thanks Mrs. GM of E. Broad Street for no help at all. Corporate will be hearing from us. If you have a business and product that spreads so much joy and happiness, you should not have an employee that ruins your mission by being sour and...
Read moreOrdered a custom 3 box of donuts. All original glaze with chocolate icing on top. These were absolutely not up to the Krispy Kreme standards I am use to getting from this location. These donuts were not just smaller, but they were not as thick as your regular donuts normally are and also very little chocolate icing were on each the donuts. I don't know if you guys were running out of ingredients, short staffed or just rushing to try to get out of there since it's Christmas Eve, but there should be no way these types of donuts should be served as a Krispy Kreme donut. It's bad enough that your rewards system hasn't worked in months and I have to call corporate each time to get my points added, which they confirmed there are problems with getting points added to customers rewards account both in stores and with the online points system as well, but now I have to ask myself do I drive approximately 5 miles to get these donuts that are not as good or made as well at other places closer to me. Outside of your staff who happened to be very nice today, and always, this was such a disappointment and let down by a national known company that should be doing better with their products they are serving vs what they...
Read moreThis was the worst experience that I've ever had in my life in a Krispy Kremes and I will probably never go back to this location first of all they don't have any fresh donuts so that fresh smell that you're looking for when you walk through the door and make sure you cancel that before you walk in cuz you're not going to get any of that the staff are honest at best they said they don't make donuts in house anymore and that is why the donuts don't look as appealing as they should the variety pack of donuts is listed at 1939 I believe it was but as he was ringing up the order the price just kept going up for this one dozen of donuts he said that he had a 45% to every donut that was decorated although there was only three other Donuts that wasn't decorated so there wasn't much to make a variety from so I definitely felt like I was getting robbed so virtually I paid over $20 for a dozen of donuts that work fresh look old Krispy Kreme should be ashamed of itself is all I'm saying these businesses are what they are because of the people who have spent their hard-earned dollar but I can promise you that Krispy Kreme will never get...
