I consider myself a cake lover for sure and have had my fair share of purchasing delicious cakes and have had amazing cake designers. Baking is definitely an art and an art I do not have myself, but I’m beyond willing to purchase and pay the price for what I want. This place is a disaster, but will go straight to what matters. We purchased a three tier cake two of the tiers on the bottom being dummies and only a 9in on top was real. We paid $242 for a 9in cake with two dummies. Again if I would have got what I wanted I really wouldn’t care. Let’s start with the quality of the cake. OMG! first of all who ever baked the cake isn’t a baker. The middle was moist but about 1in of the cake towards the outside was hard as a rock. We literally had to dig to get the good part of the cake. The chocolate was so lite didn’t even taste like a good chocolate cake. I asked for chocolate mousse and that was the weakest mousse ever had no volume nor fluff. So safe to say the cake itself was bad. We would have been better going to fresh market or sams. Now the Embellishments and decor was so out dated and it had no pop nor anything extravagant look. Mind you I paid $242 because I wanted a show stopper cake for my sons 1st bday. I was extremely disappointed with not only the quality of cake but beyond disappointed with the art work. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NO ANYONE. Nice people but it takes more then being nice to run a...
Read moreCustomer service straight up ghosted me.
I filled out their request form to have a birthday cake made for my wife. It was a little short notice (1 week) but it wasn't a specialty cake, was directly from their menu options, didn't require any extra designs, and the 2 day window I needed the cake were open on their calendar. I told them either day would be fine and I would pick it up personally. They replied that afternoon, but the mail went into spam and I didn't see it till the next morning.
They asked me to confirm my information and order request, which I did and told me it could take up to three days for confirmation and an invoice to be sent.
I told them I would have payment as soon as they finished the invoice, either that day in person or through their preferred payment service.
I never heard from them again. After waiting two and a half days I sent another reply asking if everything was okay, and again no response.
Left me scrambling the day before the party and I had to get my wife a generic Publix cake. 😢
I just feel like they could have at least told me that they didn't have time to fit me in or couldn't fill the order. The way the process went I felt as if the order was going through until it was too late for me to find another...
Read moreI put in an inquiry for a birthday cake to be made. No response! I sent an email, no response!!! I called, no answer!! Took my business to pat-a-cakes!! EDIT RESPONSE TO OWNER You assume wrong, I read your statement about delays before I put in my inquiry. And if you read your own statement, it states to put in orders 2 weeks prior. And you will respond UP TO 72 Hours not including Sundays. And if you actually looked at my inquiry you would’ve noticed I placed the inquiry On the 3rd of January and asked for pick up on January 20! Which is more than the time that you request. So no, I wasn’t in a hurry I was following your directions. This is the first time you have contacted me, but thanks for responding after I left a review. Good luck with your daughter and business! It doesn’t matter what time I turn in an inquiry or online order with any business! Like most businesses the order or inquiry will be processed 1-3 business days later. Like you stated! I can sympathize with anyone on anything but what you won’t do is make seem like I didn’t follow your guidelines. I’m glad you edited your inquiry forms, now the next potential customer won’t have this same problem.....
