Love this apartment, this has hands down been one of my favorite apartments I've lived in Columbus. My bf and I have lived here for close to 7 months now and feel compelled share how much we love this apartment and our experiences thus far. First time living in preferred living apartments, but so far so good. Rent may sounds like on the higher side but it worth the money. Luxe have all the amenities you would want in luxury apartment; theater, infinity pool/hot tub which opens 365 days, complimentary Starbucks coffee machine, computer lab, 24hr gym and yoga studio, massage, tanning room and etc. In addition, you can access sauna, pool, gym in other two highlands' complex with your key card. Most stunning for us was pet spa! We felt that this complex really cares pet as much as resident like us. But more than anything, the attention to detail by the staff and maintenance are top-notch. Staff and maintenance were super kind, fast and attentive to my needs. Carley, Paul are some of the most amazing people. They responds timely, is so sweet and she sets up events for the complex to get the community together. Also they are so considerate of your animals and take the time to have a personal relationship with you. Great location is the bonus! Luxe locates on Sawmill and Dublin Granville rd, so you can easily find most of dog parks, banks, fitness center, restaurants, carriers and shopping centers such as nordstrom rack, trader joes, whole foods less than 10min drive. Another reason why we moved into this apartment was, they have quite beautiful, modern interior design with high-end appliances, high ceilings, many storages, big patio and etc. Moreover, my bf and I are quite heavy drinker, we were extremely pleasant to have extra wine racks lol. If there's one flaw, it may be the noise problem. That's why I just took one star off. Honestly, I lived many apartments over 4yrs in Columbus-Dublin area but I've never experienced noise problem previously. However these days we can easily hear the noise(footsteps, musics) from upstairs. That can be one problem of this complex. But other advantages far outweigh this problem so overall, it was a extremely pleasant place to call home. We are so lucky to have found this place, such a gem! If you are looking for a place to live for a great location, you will find that at Luxe....
Read moreI've lived at Luxe since November and could not be happier. This is the second time I am living at the Highlands and it is a lovely apartment community. My apartment at both Luxe and my first apartment at Harper House are incredible, well-appointed with high end appliances, high ceilings and what renters are looking for in modern luxury apartments. You cannot take a step without running into an amenity and I often feel guilty that I don't use them more often. Gourmet coffee machine, fitness center, resort pool, beautiful outdoor space, everything is available and well maintained. And then there is the maintenance and staff. The maintenance staff work every day of the week and they are always nice and happy and I'm fairly certain we as tenants aren't always nice when our stuff isn't working. They are out working at 7am making sure the pools and outdoor spaces are clean and ready for us and they are still working after 6pm, every day. The leasing staff are always friendly and helpful. My dog Cooper loves visiting his friends in the office, I actually have to break his heart on Sunday when they aren't working because he can't stop by and say hi. I also think it says a lot when the leasing staff are actually tenants too. It shows pride and care in their product.
As far as the physical apartment - in Luxe my floor is so quiet and my neighbors are just really friendly. I purposefully selected the 5th floor so I wouldn't hear anyone above me. There is little to no noise from neighboring apartments. My unit looks over the pool and even on busy pool days I can't hear anything downstairs.
The complex/Highlands community is a very safe place to live. I lived in a complex across the street and felt unsafe walking my dog often. There were no sidewalks and lots of wooded areas where people would just appear. At the Highlands if you do spend time outside you see friendly faces and feel comfortable.
As someone who has rented from the Highlands two times I would encourage anyone to take a look and consider one of the properties here for...

While this apartment complex may appear luxurious from the outside, the management and overall living experience tell a very different story. My sister lived here for two years without issue, but since we moved into a two-bedroom unit down the hall—under new management—the experience has been extremely disappointing.
From the start, we were given conflicting and inaccurate information. The process of switching our electricity account to the new unit was mismanaged, resulting in a $1,000 electricity bill we were forced to pay out-of-pocket. Additionally, the leasing process was a mess—we had to re-sign leases multiple times due to management errors, totaling eight separate lease documents since our move-in in October.
Noise complaints have also gone unresolved. Despite submitting over 37 videos documenting severe disturbances from the upstairs neighbors (including shaking walls and items falling from shelves), we were told there was insufficient evidence and no further action was taken.
The building itself has serious maintenance issues. We’ve experienced leaking ceilings from burst pipes, and as of now, our air conditioning has been out for over two weeks in the middle of summer. Management provided two small portable units for our 1,115 sq. ft. apartment, which have been running constantly. When we raised concerns about how this would impact our electricity bill, we were promised follow-up—but have yet to receive any resolution. Calling the office routes us to an AI service, which eventually disconnects, making it nearly impossible to get help.
Despite the appealing appearance and great location, the apartments are poorly insulated—during the winter, cold air seeps through the outlets and windows. It’s disheartening to pay luxury-level rent for a property that delivers far less than expected, with little regard from management for residents’ comfort or concerns.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend...
