I'm not sure what else you could ask on a playground! Overall it's a massive space with seemingly endless areas for kids. Seems like a 5-10yr old focused park, but my 3 year old and some older kids were also having plenty of fun. Tons of cool sensory stations featuring several musical areas, seesaws and swings of every kind (yes, even ADA for our wheeling friends), cool tunnels, mini forts, slides, and a double tracked zip line (the kids ones on the metal tracks. One side was for youngsters and ADA kids, the other a sit and hold seat like a rope swing). Multiple bathrooms, a water station (bottle filler and 2 fountains), and a covered pavilion with about 6 tables round out the necessities. There are benches and places to sit near the bathrooms and around the play area. Soccer fields surround most of the playground but there's no fence or anything to keep the little ones corralled. Also, shade areas like the pavilion and some random trees exist but it's all sun outside of a few spots on...
Read moreThis park is absolutely amazing! We have kids from age 3 to 18 and they ALL have a blast when we go here. From the road, you go in the entrance for Dodge Park #5. There is a fairly large parking lot, but it fills up quickly during the summer. There is a pavilion, restrooms, a water bottle filling station, picnic tables and benches. So many inclusive pieces of equipment. Zero entry equipment wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs. Non static slides for kiddos with cochlears. Standard swings. Zip lines. Tunnels. A smaller playscape for infants/toddlers. An area to create music. I could literally go on and on with all the stuff they have there. There’s also soccer fields and fully paved paths so that all abilities can partake in a...
Read moreThis playground is stunning and has many unique features other parks don't offer such as sensory play & wheel chair accessibility. With that said my children play sports in this park. I am here enough to notice that this park attracts creepy individuals often. I have seen men alone following women and children. I have been even subjected to this on a couple of occasions myself. Last summer I also saw a man watching me and my children play. When I got out my phone he started walking away. I've witnessed the cops come several times to scare these guys off. While beautiful here, stay vigilant. Especially if you're with multiple children. The sight lines suck in my opinion. While gorgeous here it's not a park I...
