Very nice playland. The children are having fun & have lots to do. Easy for parents to be able too keep an eye on their children. Excitement & smiles from children of all ages almost everywhere I looked. Nice little picnic area with tables & small barbeque pits. It wasn't overly crowded, but had plenty of activity with a nice amount of people. There was a little Memorial for The Korean War Veteran's which I appreciate as my father was a Korean War Veteran God rest his soul. The area surrounding the park was a nice place to walk my dog & the disk golfers were very considerate of others, watching as they were throwing their disk to avoid any crazy or problematic flying disk. It was a nice afternoon all around. I certainly recommend this park as there is something to do for almost everyone & seeing the smiles of all the children, their families & friends was most enjoyable.

Best playground I’ve ever been to. It’s got plenty of swings for babies and big kids and has a cool one where the parent (or sibling) can swing with the baby! Took the kids (1 and 3years old) I nanny here and they loved it! I loved that the play structure had wooden bars (whatever they are called) all around it, so that my 1year old could crawl around on the play structure and I didn’t have to hover because it was impossible for them to fall off a ledge. Definitely a safe playground! The surrounding neighborhood is not the nicest, but still a generally safe area! Wish we had more playgrounds like this is the east bay!

This playground has so much potential. It used to be beautiful. It definitely needs a major face-lift. But it still has features you won't find everywhere. Great slides, swings, there are 5 different types of swings. The play structure is ramped, so even a wheelchair could go up it (that's actually the point of Matteo's dream. It's all access because Matteo was in a wheelchair) there's a climbing wall, a shaky pirate ship and a separate play structure for Littles. The downside to this park is the unhoused presence has made some things unsavory. Sometimes they sleep under the structure and leave their stuff under there. The bathrooms are horrifying, people doing drugs in them and they look absolutely disgusting. I don't let my kids use them. Some planning needs to go into how to make this park what it could be for...

Overall a serviceable playground. Lots of things for the kids to do/play. Water sprayers are nice for the hot days. Large area for running around. Large enough play structure for all ages. Now the real issue I have as a parent/adult is there is practically no shade. There is seating areas but it's layed out awkwardly. They have a lot blind spots from these seats and the offer very little shade even tho they are covered. The seats that are on the side, the ones that you can actually watch your children has no coverage. On hot days it's unbearable. The bathrooms are super close but are always filthy(alot of transients). Oh and another thing. Who's bright idea was it to put the noise/music makers right next to where people sit. Cant even have a conversation with a person right next to you. Kind...
