I used to love visiting the gardens. Sadly the 3 wonderful people who did an amazing job keeping it beautiful have lost there jobs and now someone else has taken over. I was there last week and it broke my heart what I saw , the trees and flowers are dying , the grass is horrible people are walking all over the grass and taking there pets there . There is no longer anyone in charge there on the weekends to observe. The water in the fountain is filthy. Whoever took over needs to get things back in shape. Or hire those people back who did a beautiful job keeping that place looking nice. I'm heartbroken to see such a beautiful place...
Read moreThis public garden is absolutely gorgeous. Very bright and inviting, with winding stone paths and hidden nooks. The flower beds are like a page from a magazine! We enjoyed reading the headstones and thinking about how those buried would really enjoy the beauty surrounding them. But....the grounds keeper (an older woman) is a horrible troll. She's grouchy, rude, and unpleasant. She follows people and creeps around glaring angrily. Since our visit I've learned she is this way with most visitors. It is saddening, I like to think that those buried would enjoy the happiness and liveliness visitors bring as opposed to a beautiful...
Read moreMy wife and I just visited this garden today! We were absolutely astounded by the beauty and magnificent atmosphere of the overall environment! We did go on April 6 which is the middle or beginning best time of spring! There were families, young kids, older people younger people all kinds! This is an excellent place to gather around perhaps on a Sunday afternoon after church with the family!
