I am a regular here. I go here about 2-5 times a week, so very often, and I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars here. Most of the time everything is okay. Today, September 5th, I went here to get drinks for me and some of my coworkers while I was on break. I bought five drinks, four of them were put in a flimsy drink carrier that they did not bother to double up to reinforce the strength of it. I thought it would be fine, but once I got into the parking garage, one of the drinks tipped out of the carrier and fell straight onto the ground and splattered open and everywhere. So, I went back, showed the workers the picture of the drink and explained what happened. All they said was around the lines of, "Ok, I'll ring it up.".. I was confused, why am I paying for the drink that I had bought for somebody else that had fallen because of their mistake and careless decision to give me four full-size drinks in a weak drink carrier? I did not drop anything on purpose.. these drinks are overpriced as is. I did not think it would be a problem for them to remake something regardless of who's fault it is if their drink or item had broken or was wrong right after purchasing it.. especially because I had just witnessed somebody, not too long ago, drop four large drinks and get them all replaced with no questions asked. I explained that to the workers, Jayden and Kayllie, as well. All they said to that was "I don't know who was there that day"... Since I was at work and on break at this time I did not have the time to argue or ask for a manager, so I decided that I was just going to pay for it since I was getting it for someone else. How come you are able to replace other drinks for different people or mistakes that your employees make themselves but you can't do that for one of your most loyal customers. This place is overpriced as is, even compared to other boba shops, and the fact that I come here so often and I cannot get a mistake that was on their end replaced, I am no longer going...
Read moreI have been to this boba shop (Concord NC) a couple of times and so far it has been amazing. Good service, the employees have been very nice, and the boba has been perfect, until today. When we went to go get boba it was the same nice, quick service but the only problem was the tapioca pearls. You could definitely tell they were not cooked properly. They were very hard (not as soft and chewy as usual) and a lot smaller than usual (which can be a sign of undercooking)…also stuck together. I was very disappointed because this boba shop has been very good so far and I did not plan to stop coming but I don’t personally see a point on buying around a six dollar drink just to get uncooked tapioca pearls. I might try it again just to see if it goes back to normal but if not I will have to find a new boba shop. Photo included in review is just for proof & reference. We purchased 2 drinks, as it...
Read morei love the beverages and food the place has to offer and the crew members are always so nice. my problem is that my daughter loves the kpop events the mooresville location held, however; my child just came to me telling me that b&k is now charging the main kpop vendor a fee to have events at their location. while i understand this, we are under the impression the mooresville location is asking for an unreasonable number just to allow a stand to sell kpop merchandise, occasionally, in their store. my daughter is unbelievably upset as the new location the vendor had to move to is quite far just to enjoy a drink and buy her merchandise. while i understand b&k’s reasoning, i don’t see a reason to continue to bring my daughter here when they only goal she had when we stopped by...
