I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the remarkable dining experience I recently had at Havana Carolina Restaurant & Bar. It was a culinary journey that transported me straight to the vibrant streets of Havana.

From the moment I entered your restaurant, I was immersed in the inviting and lively atmosphere. The decor, with its warm colors and Cuban art, created an authentic ambiance that instantly put me in a festive mood. The live music in the background further enhanced the Cuban experience.

Now, let's talk about the food. Your menu is a true testament to the rich and diverse flavors of Cuban cuisine. Every dish I had was a masterpiece. The pork was tender and flavorful, the arroz "congri" was a comforting delight, and the “tres leches” was a burst of savory goodness. The plantains were cooked to perfection.

What truly set your restaurant apart was the attention to detail in each plate's presentation. It was evident that your chefs not only excel in the art of flavor but also in the art of plating. Each dish was a visual and gastronomic delight.

I must also commend your staff for their exceptional service. Our server was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about sharing the culture and history behind each dish. Their enthusiasm added to the overall experience and made us feel like welcomed guests in your restaurant.

To top it off, your mojitos were a refreshing and authentic taste of Cuba. They paired perfectly with our meal and added to the festive atmosphere.

In summary, my dining experience at Havana Carolina Restaurant & Bar was a journey of flavors, culture, and warmth. It's clear that your team is dedicated to preserving and sharing the beauty of Cuban cuisine. Please extend my gratitude to the chefs, our server, and the entire staff for a memorable evening.

Thank you for bringing a taste of Cuba to our city. I look forward to returning soon to savor more of your...

We visited this restaurant for the first time this past Saturday. It was to celebrate my mother in laws 76th birthday. Thanks to Instagram as I never knew you all existed. I was able to quickly book a reservation online using Open Table which made it super easy and convenient. I would suggest for the future in the confirmation email that is sent maybe some directions on where one should park and that the restaurant is located inside of another building. We've never been before and had a hard time actually parking as the road was completely closed due to some severe construction. If not for the reservation and the special occasion, we might've gone elsewhere.

Thankfully we did not! Bryan was our server and he was absolutely amazing! Great energy and super sweet! We started off with some appetizers. Their Tesoros Cubanos and Bolas De Yuca were oh so tasty! For our main meal, I ordered their Lechon Asado w/ Congri Rice & Maduros. My husband ordered the Lechon Asado w/ Congri Rice & Yuca Frita. My mother in law ordered the Masas De Cerdo Fritas w/ Congri Rice & a salad. My older daughter ordered the Masas De Cerdo Fritas w/ Congri Rice & Tostones. My youngest daughter ordered the Vaca Frita w/ Congri Rice & Tostones. The food was absolutely delicious! We stopped ourselves from eating it all to ensure we left room for dessert. The staff graciously played music and came out singing and dancing with a birthday Flan for my mother in law. She was pleasantly surprised and so happy. My husband ordered their Rice Pudding. My oldest and I shared their Tres Leche which was the best we've had since living in NJ. My youngest ordered their Churros w/ Chocolate Sauce on the side. We truly had the best time and everyone was so kind and attentive. We will absolutely come back and request...

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for years and today I finally did! Havana Carolina is located in downtown Concord off of Union Street. My suggestion is to park behind the building where there is a parking lot off of Church Street versus Union Street. When entering through the front door you have to walk to the back to locate the restaurant. Havana Carolina has backdrop for a quick photo op! You know the girls love a good picture! When we walked in we were greeted by Bryan and seated immediately. It was pretty quiet when we first got there. The restaurant is decorated like a typical cuban cafe. Because this was my first time visiting I was overwhelmed by the menu but Bryan made suggestions and recommendations. We started with an appetizer that had a little of everything on it. The appetizer really is sufficient for two people, but both my friend and myself were famous so we also ordered entrées. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and my friend ordered the steak sandwich. I also had two Mojitos, which were made perfectly by Niurka. Although the drink was pretty, I was so glad that it was not too sweet. Niurka and Bryan showed excitement to have customers and both provided excellent customer service. You know sometimes you visit restaurants and the employees seem like they’re mad that you’re there- I didn’t get that feel here. The food was delicious. To add insult to injury I also ordered Tres Leche’s and it was so good sweet and moist. What I like most about my visit to this restaurant was the customer service sadly, customer service has gone downhill tremendously since the pandemic and it felt good to have someone who communicated well who is happy and funny. Tomorrow is Thursday and they are having specials on Mojitos. I may...

First I was greeted on the outside by a young lady who was handing out menus and suggested a menu item. Based on her demeanor I assumed this local restaurant would be welcoming. Well I stood at the front entrance waiting to be seated for 5-7 minutes as waitresses zoomed by with no acknowledgment. As patrons at their table started at me waiting. After being seated, the lady from outside became my waitress. I ordered the tiny treasures, never experiencing Cuban food I could only imagine it being seasoned on the spicy side. Well every item I tasted was full of oil and unseasoned, no flavor at all. Every item tasted the same. My plate after I bit in some items, left a puddle of oil. I don't want to count this place out, I might try on a night engagement they do have salsa lessons and live music but I will stay away from ordering the above. Edit updated from 2-star to 5-star: I finally made it back from my last experience. This time it was during the evening with a group of ladies. Food was so good. I ordered an empanada for appetizer ( could've order more and I would have be good). I was so afraid, so I tried a simple dish: Julianas De Pollo and let me tell you, the flavors were awesome. I paired it with Maduros & Congri, perfect, love the balance of the sweetness of the Maduros with the Congri (rice and beans). To top it off I had 2- Passion Fruit Mojitos. Our waitress (Ann, I believe) was great. A young gentleman (possibly the busboy) came over and chatted with us on the way out ( didn't get his name) very pleasant and knowledgeable. Definitely will return.
