I visited years ago with my kids while the trail was yet to be expanded. It was a nice short walk with a great view of the Merrimack River. It is wheelchair accessible ♿ and has access to both a dog 🐕 and human park 🏞️. It is carry in/carry out. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up afterwards. The big issue I had was that access under the bridge was blocked by a homeless person who decided to reside there. He was tossing stuff around and yelled at me. A jogger also avoided the homeless person as well. I didn't know if calling the police 🚓 would have done any good. I don't want to tie up a 911 line and put officers at risk for something like this. The graffiti on the bridge is beyond the control of the people who maintain the trail. There is an area being cleared and signs that there is maintenance being performed.
