Tonic Rage Room — Attraction in Concord

I had the misfortune of visiting Tonic Rage Room and it was an absolute disaster. The Axe & knife throwing was a complete joke. The lanes were in terrible condition and the boards were so worn out that they desperately needed repair. The axes were not even throwing axes, but just small axes bought from a hardware store. The knives were dull and had broken tips and spurs all over them.

To add insult to injury, we were charged $100 for just 15 minutes of smashing. We were only given 2 milk crates of dishes and glasses, a small window, a phone, and a keyboard to smash. If we wanted to smash a small TV or printer, we had to pay an extra $25, and for a large TV, an additional $50.

The cherry on top was the attitude of the person on duty, who didn't even want to throw their own axes and seemed disinterested in their job. It was clear that Tonic Rage Room doesn't care about customer satisfaction or providing quality services.

Save your time and money and visit a reputable location instead. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later. The fact that Tonic Rage Room's response to this review will be "Untrue" is a clear indication that this post is 100% accurate. Avoid this place...

My friend and I bought the 30-minute package for two, and it was plenty enough time for us. We went to rage, but we laughed uncontrollably as we tossed coffee mugs in the air and hit them with bats like softballs. We teed up plates and knocked them into the wall with golf clubs. We each had a crate of dishes to break in addition to one small computer and a detached keyboard.

The least satisfying things to break were VHS tapes. I would have preferred something glass. I also would have liked to have had the items that we smashed elevated higher. There were a couple of 12-inch wooden stumps in the room to put things on, but a table-height platform would be preferable. However, I understand that it might not be doable, considering the damage such a platform might sustain.

The customer service and safety instructions were excellent, and the protective gear did its job. I would do this again here....

Buddies and I had a great time!! Want to go back again! Looks are deceiving when you first walk in to this place. After you step in it looks like your about have a jam session at your grandma's with old red couches and a drum set in far back right with a wall of guitars. Then the hint of something more devastating is to come. With a few swords hanging next to the guitars . We went to the larger room near the back of place. We each , three of use, put on our required gear (hat, coat, gloves and ear protection). Each of us out a box of small items a medium item and one TV( extra charge). The TV option I highly recommend. Then we proceeded to smatch everything!! So very cathartic and just plan fun! Great to release so angry and have some fun and make some great primal animal noises. Staff was friendly...
