Update:I wish I would have saw this before enrolling my child.I see why they were just sued for child negligence by a parent and lawfirm just in September of last year! Worst place to leave your child!!!The good reviews has to be from their employees or friends because absolutely no way is this place safe for your chikd especially under the age of 2. This school is still harassing me for money knowing my child wasnt in attendance because of their staff mistreated my child!!!!!!!! Just sad and unprofessional!!!They didnt even clean my childs nose everytime i picked her up her nose was running, fingernails dirty..i can go on and on..They obviously dont care about the kids its just about a check. Omggg Im trembling writing this.I would never ever leave my child at this daycare.Ive tried multiple times giving this daycare a chance.I didn't the first 2 times but Im definitely this time reporting this daycare, its not enough staff to the room my child was in,if their is they CANNOT handle the children. When I drop my child off its always a huge confusion because apparently the staff thats there is not my child's actual teacher, the kids ate touching other kids, picking up toys putting them in their mouth passing them to other kids thats a huge no for me.Its been a month my child has only attended 2 days and its not because I dont need the care it’s because I dont feel safe leaving her.And the nerve of them to make me pay the full price plus a week ahead!!!!Seriously!!!I dropped her off one day she came home with a scratch and a red mark in her chest and her nose and fingernails were extremely dirty I told the staff and figured it would be addressed. Not only that I reiterated 3 lx to the staff that my daughter must drink the bottle i made for her because thats her daily ensure and she is premature so a little behind so she still uses her pacifier for soothing ,as i was looking on the cameras my baby cried the entire day ,when i picked her up i noticed they never gave her the bottle or pacifier like seriously after i told them 3 times?!!!! That would have avoided that!!The following day I attempted to drop her off and she was screaming when i was leaving her to the point she started throwing up and the staff just stood there and watched ,i was so shocked i just grabbed my baby and left.So now today i drop her off and just looking around They are not attentive enough to these kids its sippy cups and pacifiers, bottles that could easily be mixed up its kids touching other kids and the snacks are not labeled or dated omg, then my baby is crying running to the door with all of the rest of the kids and shes drooling on her cloths ,I had to go back and wipe her off because the staff wasnt going to its just too much and the nerve of them to be asking for a full payment and my baby only attended 2 times.I encourage the director to dive deep in into this organization and start training and cleaning things up because this is horrific! And lastly this one staff member the 2 times i came was holding the same baby maybe if they show that same compassion to the other kids it will make a difference!Im just appauled.Im no expert at running a daycare but this one needs to be looked into so these kids can be safe and taken care of .And i dont even think its any learning curriculum for the toodlers.I didn't even notice any sensory toys in view or...
Read moreABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! This horrible experience all started with the new director that kicked our 23 month old daughter out of daycare with no warning! This woman started in November 2017 and by December 14th in the middle of the day we were told to come and pick our child up and I was told by Liz the new director “I don’t think you need to bring your child back here! The following information is all public now! Many incidents in a very short time is what prompted my husband and I to report Kids R Kids to the state of Texas! The four violations they were cited in December 2017 is not all the punishment they received! They were also fined thousands for the fire inspection on the building being expired! The second citation was for “The center refused to provide specialized medical assistance to a child”! this was our child! The third citation was “on at least seven days, medication was signed in for a child but the medication was never given to the child”! Because of this our child ended up back in the Doctors office wheezing from her not receiving her breathing treatments they were supposed to give her twice a day for over a week! She was only getting them at home and that was not ok! When I asked the new director Liz to see the book on the medication and learned my child had gone without a medication that helps her breath I was very upset! I asked her why and her answer to me was very rude and had no compassion! All she said was “well we are just going to move past it! No matter how many times I asked why I got the same answer! The fourth citation was “the director began working before the results of her central registry were received”! It is all now posted on the public website dfps.state.tx.us under Texas Child Care Licensing! The new director and the owners are rude and hateful people and have absolutely no compassion! Our 2 year old daughter has breath holding spells occasionally at daycare! She has had them since she was 10 months old. She started at kids r kids right after the breath holding spells started. She has been through many tests including an EEG of her brain to make sure nothing major is wrong! A note from her pediatrician and her neurologist both say she is perfectly normal and she will grow out of it! None of her doctors have ever heard of a child with this condition being kicked out of daycare over it! I heard many times from this kids r kids “well I have never heard of this condition”! So my suggestion would be learn about it if you are going to work with children! We were told all the time by the teachers that our child was such a good kid and they enjoyed having her! The other thing now that time has passed, she was always sick and I have dr bills to prove it! She also spent a very scary week in ICU at Texas Children’s hospital from RSV she got from kids r kids! She has not been sick since she has been at the new daycare and that is over 2 months now! This just shows us how much cleaner the new daycare is! Yes everything happens for a reason and she loves it more where she is now and so do we! They welcomed her with open arms and she has only had one episode since she started...
Read morestarted my 2.5 year old son here in hopes for a better daycare. old daycare was chaotic and made lots of mistakes to the point where we needed to change. when startinf i was assured that things here are much better, more structure and better teachers. the weekly pay was $50 more than what we were paying before but thought because the owners and managers were so reassuring that it would be worth it. not even 2 months in and i get a call that he has a large gash in the back of his head and needs to be taken to a hospital. he fell back into a metal door handle that’s at the bottom of the door and split his head open and needed staples. after this incident i was reassured again that this was an accident and they have taken all the yoga balls away due to what happened. a few short months later my son started to cry and get upset when i would wake him up in the morning to go to school. he was getting stressed before we would leave. this was concerning because he’s two years old and didn’t even want to go to daycare. they started telling me he was biting and hitting kids for no reason and would send notices. i couldn’t understand why he was doing this because he is a great kid and never has issues like this at home. every day being dropped off his behavior would get worse and worse day by day, which also doesn’t make sense, because if anything he should be more used to it. The lady upfront her name is Megan started having an attitude towards me during drop offs and when I would come to pick him up and she would tell me about his bad days. Many times dropping him off. It was so chaotic. There were kids crying, being unattended kid, standing on chairs and jumping off. One kid would flick the lights on and off. I will check the cameras during the day and see that the one teacher that is in that room would be in the restroom changing a toddler while all 17 other kids were left unattended in the room. I finally got the hint that this daycare is what’s making him have issues. When I decided to pull him out, I called and explain the situation in hopes of some understanding and an apology. Megan listened to all my concerns and did not say a word. All she responded with is “usually we require a 2 weeks notice but i’ll wave it”. that was it. no apology, nothing. worst daycare i have ever witnessed. they don’t care about the children and keep them in a chaotic environment. they would leave him in poop diapers for hours and he would get terrible rashes, i’d come to get him and he could barely walk from the pain. he also would have snot dried on his face every day. they would not pay close attention to these poor kids at all. they lose personal belongings and can’t keep track of anything. had to write me checks due to packs of diapers They lost. DONT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE THEY...
