In response to the review. No the corporate number was not given. The reservation number was given. Also in regards to shoes you have a pool and i have never in all the hotels 4 and 5 star been told to wear shoes going to different parts of the hotel especially with a pool. Also i was incredibly nice i was happy from the day. I had no problem with making sure the girls were quiet as i explained we were headed to bed. It wasnt until the manager keep going and going and made it a point to say, in a very rude manner, "i seen them and i seen you and they were running" she continued to keep on with more banter until i walked away. That is not the way the conversation went at all. Not only did she continue to harass all three guests who had rooms she tried to get our room numbers multiple times after probably trying to cover her tail for the way she acted toward not just one but 3 of us. We also have pics and video of this. I have absolutely no problem with being respectful to other guest. I do have a problem with lies and giving my money to a place who continues to defend this type of behavior. I am not done with this either. I am contacting the corporate i am contacting BBB. I am leaving reviews everywhere i will not stop until something is done. You cant treat someone like this in a place of business and respect it to just go away. Sad thing is if you would have listened to the paying customer and not believed a lie and tried to make the situation better I might would have not keep this going.
So I was going to leave a great review. We stay here multiple times and never had this kind of problem. So sad because we play select ball and a lot of our team stays here. Never again after how rude your manager was on 9/20. Our girls had just got back from a really long day of tournaments and we were trying to settle down for the night. When my card quit working I had to go down stairs and get the card reset. That's when the desk attendant was polite and fixed it. Then here's where the problem came. The manager walked out and said. Just so you know there is no running in the halls. I said that's fine we are all headed to bed the girls have tournaments. Then the manager preceded to say I was watching them and they were running. I said I dont think they were running she said oh yes they were and you were with them. So she was watching cameras and the girls were supposably running or walk running to fast. Regardless she was incredible rude the conversation could have stopped after I said they were headed to bed. To continue in a very sarcastic manner and be that rude is so unprofessional. There was more also. She just keep going i finally just walked aaway and said i wont stay here again. Then after my daughter in another room herd she went down to talk to her and the lady complained again about them not having shoes on. My daughter also asked for the corporate number and of course she refused. So we found it and I will be contacting them. So sad because this would have been our consistent hotel we would have stayed at. After we asked for corporate number which she refused she then continued to be very rude to all the guests we had. Unless this lady gets fired or leaves I wont be back. So sad comfort inn. I really liked this place...
Read moreI took a chance on this hotel due to the fact there were so many recent, great reviews. Hotels rates Kingwood were unusually expensive over the Christmas holiday, so I looked further north. This hotel is much nicer than the average Comfort Inn. We were very impressed! It must be recently remodeled. The location is convenient to I-45 but we didn't notice traffic noise, even though we were on the side closest to the freeway. The room was clean-- you would never know they allow pets here. We happen to have a 60 lb goldendoodle, so that's a big reason why I chose this hotel-- They don't have a weight limit like most in this chain. Also, their pet fee was less than most pet-friendly hotels. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet despite the fact that the hotel was full-- and they allow pets. Breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety, especially for this hotel class. What really impressed me was the friendly service, both over the phone and in person. Tim and Alexis were SO helpful, friendly and welcoming! One more thing: If you arrive late and are hungry like we did, the IHOP is a one minute walk away, open 24 hours. The service and food were great, just what we needed. The drive from our daughter's home in Kingwood is pretty far with traffic, but we will still stay again when...
Read moreDuring my stay at this hotel, my room was robbed by the housekeeping staff. My daughter's iPad was stolen and the person who stole it was caught on camera. The manager wouldn't release the footage and they never offered any compensation. Now the months later, I was made to haggle with choice hotels you get some compensation for the Device. In the meantime... The culprit attempted to hack into my email, my tax account and Even my bank account. This did not cause any alarm as far as they were concerned. It was business as usual. Besides this, the entire staff sits it back of the hotel smoking marijuana with summer is the tenants while the door is propped open so that anyone can enter the building at any time. The lobby reeks of dope. And that's not the half. After staying here for a month. I was told I am except from taxes. That lasted 2 weeks and then they raised my rate by $10 a night! Everything is time to pay we have to go back and forth until they take the payment....
